awesome idea, Ethan! I'm totally with you on that, but I don't have any connections....If you need help with graphic design or anything, let me know! :)

I was able to find and watch the episode, as well as point out the violin music! I love how it serves as a leitmotif (entering music) for the lavender-ish girl AM, and I love watching the expressions on Cookie's face throughout that sketch. And yes, his reaction at the end of the sketch is...
For some reason, I don't recall the violin music, so I'll have to look for the episode and watch it again....thank goodness for On Demand! In speaking of which, does anyone know when more episodes will be put out on demand?

hey ethan!
i am a 3rd-generation SSer as well (born in 1989), but never gained appreciation for it until earlier this year....however, I'm quite interested in seeing what was shown before I was born. Best of luck in your efforts, and i'm sure that if Sesame Workshop makes this happen, you...
I may have posted in here before, but after watching an episode on demand (it was in the 37 or 3800's), I saw a sketch where Cookie has a cookie and says, "mmmm....cookie!" Then, he sees a pinkish girl AM walk by, so he breaks the cookie in half and says, "Share." But when he eats it in his...
I believe Lily Tomlin's appearance as the operator on "Sesame Street Stays Up Late" was in 1993. I used to have that on video tape, but I'm not quite sure what happened to it.

I remember having asked a question about this sketch, and I believe the thread was titled, "Alphabet sketch question." I can kinda remember the "P" one, something about penguins and parachutes....

I was born in 1989, so I think my main era was from about 1990 to about 1992...in 1992 (at age 3), I was freaked out after seeing "The Word is No," so my "forced" main era (my mom had to desensitize me by squeezing me between her knees and making me watch SS) was from 1992 to about early 1997...
I admit I liked the "Cookie Hood" episode too, BEAR. I also forgot to mention I liked all of Cookie's scenes throughout "Don't Eat the Pictures."

here are the ones I can remember:
~The sketch with Kermit and Cookie where Kermit is trying to explain beginning, middle and end, but Cookie eats the book.
~Another Kermit and Cookie sketch where Kermit has a box with a mystery object inside and Cookie has to guess what's in the box...
I remember seeing this sketch sometime about a decade ago or 11 years ago, but all I can really remember is the end of it, where Cookie eats the book. Can someone explain it to me in detail so I can recall some of what I forgot?
