Disney has done everything RIGHT in 2014

Totally agree - and I think we will see same with Star Wars too. I think as has been said it's that combination of putting the backing behind a property but also understanding it creatively and doing all the things with it the "universe" of fans have dreamed of. Disney used to Disneyfy things...

    Johnny Fiama

Brian was amazing and it was an unbeatable pairing. I would like to see more J&S though. I think the idea of a song you wouldn't expect to be done in lounge style is an excellent idea for a viral

Video: Muppets Most Wanted Official Teaser Trailer On-line

Well, lets face it ... anything with gratuitously dancing penguins is a good thing! Love the trailer - the films going to look amazing what with all the very classic British landmarks they were shooting at - think this one will have a great MTM/GMC feel to it.

Great to see another one of the Muppet fan community's own working with The Muppets. I thought Ryan did an amazing job performing Elmo. Nailed it - I wish him every success in the future.

Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

Without going into everything, even with the last retraction which became known as a settlement i still didn't think he'd come back - once the damage is done it's done. I really admire Kevin's professional work and "Being Elmo" touched me, i'm glad he had the chance to tell his amazing life...

Help Save British Fraggle Rock Episodes

Help Save British Fraggle Rock Episodes

Great to see you Hubert, thanks. Yes, its very strange. I guess at the time they must have sold the UK version to them rather than USA version. Also Disney has a hand in what happened with UK Faggle - somehow they aquired all of the "TVS" UK tape library, and has never even touched it. So...

Help Save British Fraggle Rock Episodes

Hi This thread is well worth reading: http://missingepisodes.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=4479 There were actually 57 episodes known to still exist though Jim Henson Company didn't have them all. Only 12 were broadcast quality, the rest grainy VHS. However...

    Remembering Jerry Nelson (July 10, 1934-August 23, 2012)

Wow all the tributes and artwork are fantastic - Muppet fans sure are a talented bunch. I don't like to see the characters crying though .. obviously its sad he has died but at the same time i'm happy for all he got to do in his life, and the gift of his work which will live on .. time for a...

    Remembering Jerry Nelson (July 10, 1934-August 23, 2012)

Just to echo and add to everyones comments, Jerry was such a huge part of The Jim Henson Company and his iconic characters will be remembered and live on for all to enjoy. I also had the pleasure of speaking to Jerry on Muppet Central and was grateful he was so generous interacting with the...

Henson and BBC developing "No Strings Attached" TV series

its early days yet .. just a pilot. But its got all the right elements - Brian and Lisa (awesome brians puppeteering), baker coogan. More puppetry talent there than you can shake a stick at! Danny is cool too, dont think he's wrote for puppets before but i think its pretty clear he's a huge...

UK: New puppet chat show by BBC and Henson

The vibe i get is that they have a very strong main puppet character and are trying to write a show around it. Danny is great. This could be good, though BBC 1 Saturday night is always tricky ground. Why not just partner with Disney and do a new TMS with The Muppets? Other than I guess...
