    Just wondering

I'd be all for putting together a Muppet fan convention in NY (where Muppetfest 2 was going to be) or somewhere on the East Coast. These Bronys have no problem having 3 or 4 conventions a year, I don't know why we can't get something done!

"Being Elmo" now in select theaters

I actually saw this movie last month at a screening hosted by one of the producers (I went to high school with one of her sons) at the local theater (I've been meaning to write a review for The Muppet Mindset but keep forgetting, maybe closer to the DVD release) and I've got to tell you...

    Disney Store Muppet Merchandise Released

There was a Dr. Bob plush as part of a Vet's Hospital set about nine years ago, good luck finding it now though. You'd have an easier time finding a Pepe plush than you would any of Sababa's Muppet plushes these days.

    Disney Store Muppet Merchandise Released

This is so insane. It seems like it's easier to sell college textbooks than it is to find these plushes. :)

Super Bowl XLVI: New York Giants vs. New England Patriots

New Yorker! Gotta go with the Giants.

The Muppets is now the top-grossing Muppet movie

Oh no, of course not. I meant that I don't want to see said CG Kermit shouting "Winning!" every time he kicks someone in the nuts.

The Muppets is now the top-grossing Muppet movie

Oh... it did. Like you said, it made all it's money over Christmas vacation. It didn't make as much as the movies before it, but it's still the biggest family movie of the holiday season. Yeah... So like I said, I really hope this explodes overseas. The last thing I want to see is the next...

The Muppets is now the top-grossing Muppet movie

For some reason I had a dream last night about trolling this thread complaining about how Chipmunks made more money than this. Oh well enough about that. That said, this movie will do incredible overseas. I can see it hitting $150 easy.

Youtuber taking others puppet work and claiming as own

That sounds about equal to the incredibly short play that was a tamed Iron Giant I wrote in Grade 2: which I actually sent to Zoom in hopes they would do it on the show. *facepalm*

Memories of writing Who Framed Donald Duck at age 9 are flooding back to me. :o

    Possible Fraggle Rock Movie??

This news is a few months old. So far Regency hasn't made any further announcements regarding the movie.

    Pixar Vs. Dreamworks

Cars 2 notwithstanding, Pixar has made perfect movies in every possible way. I pretty much stand by my belief that every movie they make, with exceptions, improves on the movie before it in animation (one of the things Cars 2 did succeed in) and script quality. So, in particular, I love that...

Youtuber taking others puppet work and claiming as own

Yeah, in his defense, it doesn't seem like he's necessarily stealing per se, he's just seeing what he likes and is working it to place it with his ideas. I used to do the same thing, that's how I ended up the two Russ Walko-built puppets I have. They are his designs, I just came up with...

Youtuber taking others puppet work and claiming as own

Don't bring that up here on Muppet Central! I'm sssssssstill trying to get over that!

Youtuber taking others puppet work and claiming as own

Gotta love pulling out the thesaurus to come up with song names. Seriously "Images in My Skull"? "A Discussion About Myself"? This sounds like something a 13-year old would write (I know, I would have written this at 13!)

    The Muppets 2011 DVD details

OK, I get what you are saying now. But I digress. I'm done with this thread. I'm trying to look at the glass half-full but there's more negativity here than there is at the DMV. If you don't want the movie without deleted scenes on the DVD, don't buy it then. That's all I have to say, see you...

    The Muppets 2011 DVD details

My point is that it will still play regardless. If you can't have high def, you can't have high def. That's just the way it is. But just because you don't have an HD TV doesn't mean you can't have a Blu-ray player.

    The Muppets 2011 DVD details

I've seen portable Blu-Ray players at my local Sam's Club so I guess you could be able to find them in any store if you ask and look around enough.

    The Muppets 2011 DVD details

Um... yeah, not trying to rude here but you don't need a HDTV for a Blu-ray player. It will play A-OK on a standard definition television and some Blu-ray players come with sound speakers in order to help it reach it's full potential. I know my dad won a Blu-ray player in a radio contest and he...
