I'd imagine legs would normally double the length of the puppet so my e-bay one would be 34 inches if he had legs.

I dont really use patterns each puppet is made without one i do them from memory.

I agree i tend never to make legs for my characters i find they get in the way when doing live performances, i only put legs on commissions when they are specified.

i'm not sure to be honest,it cost a couple of pounds to list something i'm not sure of any other charges they are direct debit.

yeah that was the best i've had for an e-bay puppet and i wasnt going to list that one at first.

I make one at a time but they only take about 3 hours if i'm in the right frame of mind sometimes i cant get started though.

He has got a few strands of ostrich feathers on the head,i got that fur from Blackpool but you can get it from e-bay,I think my next e-bay puppet will be a live hand human based on the one from muppet meeting films i'm hoping to have him ready by the weekend.

Sorry i forget about that sometimes wadding is like stuffing in sheet form it's stiffer and works well for putting inside arms and legs etc.

I use wadding for the insde of the fingers and hands and a thick garden wire to make the fingers posable i find it works a treat.
