I absolutely love the hand that lab rat make on his puppet

are they made from 2 pieces of fleece that is then sewn together down the middle ?
what are the stuffed with ?
does anyone have pics on how to make the fingers pose able?

Generally, stuffing does not work as well for hands as foam does. If you want chubby hands you should use thicker foam. 1-inch foam should do the trick. You can also pad it out by adding 1/4-inch on top of that.

I use wadding for the insde of the fingers and hands and a thick garden wire to make the fingers posable i find it works a treat.

I think wadding is one of those Brit-terms you're going to have to explain to everyone Lab Rat. :wink:

Sorry i forget about that sometimes wadding is like stuffing in sheet form it's stiffer and works well for putting inside arms and legs etc.

How do you stablize the wire inside the hand if you're using wadding? Because that would be the big issue for me, I don't want the wire shifting over time as the puppet is used. Foam is a better way to go in my opinion, but I'm really interested to know how you do your hands.

If you wanted to, some pics of your process next time you're doing some building would be appreciated by everyone I'm sure.
