I would get picked on for liking Looney Tunes... yet liking Space Jam is absolutely okay. :attitude: And liking the Muppets was a huge problem, but mention Muppet Treasure Island or maybe Muppets from Space around people my age and they get on the extreme nostalgia goggles.
Anyway... the fact...
Sure, the show itself may be out of production but SG just mentioned they still release multiple Barney DVDs a year, I don't know how much of the DVDs are cut-and-paste jobs or new footage but surely the team behind the show films new footage for videos for at least a few days out of the year...
It's really pushing the definition of a real "connection". If it was Sheryl Leach herself that committed the crime, then yeah, that'd be bad news for Barney but considering this is a relative rather than a person involved with the show, Barney is in a safe zone. But even then it's not like the...

It's an odd release date, I would assume Disney would want it to come out around President's Day weekend or around Easter but a March release will do this movie good, much less competition. I can wait for Disney to deliver a quality product.
I'll admit, I've looked up the article a couple times more than I should have, but I have no clue why it would be so high up. I haven't looked at it that often...
