Sure, the show itself may be out of production but SG just mentioned they still release multiple Barney DVDs a year, I don't know how much of the DVDs are cut-and-paste jobs or new footage but surely the team behind the show films new footage for videos for at least a few days out of the year...

It's an odd release date, I would assume Disney would want it to come out around President's Day weekend or around Easter but a March release will do this movie good, much less competition. I can wait for Disney to deliver a quality product.
