OK, so after Elmo, Animal and Boober Fraggle, it looks like Floyd Pepper has become the latest replica in my workspace. He still needs his hands fleecing, his real eyes/glasses adding to replace the placeholders and then i think he's about done. Hope you like him so far.

Here are the latest pictures of Gladstone. Fully fleeced with a pipe like tongue. Off to his new home with a ventriloquist soon.

Can't remember for certain but I think the piece used here was 1 metre wide and 2 metres long so roughly the same in yards.

The U shapes are the tops of the feet. the inner U attaches to the bottom of the leg while the base of the feet sews onto the front (toes to straight edge)then you cut it to form the toes. The piece in the middle makes the body once all the darts are sewn together. On mine, the two pieces...

I think for me, it has always been a case of you can't officially buy many full size accurate muppet or sesame street replicas so if you want one, then you've got to do it yourself.

I found it on eBay. I'm guessing that you can buy it elsewhere but that was where i came across it.

Just thought i would share some in progress pictures of Old Enough To Know Better Puppets' latest commission. Based on one of the many gargoyles on the Houses of Parliament, Gladstone is now just about to get his skin.

Helga is ending tomorrow (Saturday) and currently has no bids. Great time to grab yourself a bargain.

It's a great Cookie. I did one based on the old darker, shorter furred Cookie from the original Sesame Street episodes - before he went bright and bold - but I intend making a one similar to this as well when i find time between other work. The Borsa pattern is one of the few i don't have...

Thanks. Videos have been a bit of a pain for me as i have been working without a monitor, so it usually took a good four or five attempts to capture something that could be used. Even then, not being able to see exactly where the puppets were in relation to the camera still meant they couldn't...

To be honest, I'm not sure if he's a monster or not myself. He was originally going to be a very similar variation on Herman - the previous "Hairy Dude" puppet - but then he had a bit of a shave, found his glasses and became completely different to the original idea. For the better though.

They were made out of craft balls, which i had to spray white as they come clear. They come in a all sizes and they also have a little bit sticking out that can have a piece of string tied through which helps when actually attaching them as it sits inside the skull and can be linked up to an eye...

Oh, and I think the hair looks flatter in the pictures than in the fur, as it were, but he does need a bit of a brush out.
