Question for "Children of the 50's and 60's"

No problem. Like I said, no hard feelings. I figured that you either hadnt met a lot of atheists, had only met the atheists that say they are atheist because they think its rebellious (and can be very rude and abrasive about it), or it wasnt how you meant it at all. So no worries. :)

Question for "Children of the 50's and 60's"

Not to cause any problems but as an atheist I dont agree with grouping atheists with curse words, crimes, and promiscuous sex. I'm really not trying to start a war here. I just want you to understand that being an atheist doesnt make you a bad person. I follow stricter morals than a lot of my...

    Your Thoughts: Kevin Clash Biography

Ok just finished the book a couple of days ago. The big thing that stood out to me (and that Im surprised no one has mentioned yet) is the typo that glares at you... "Jim Hensen" I think its somewhere in Chapter 2. I am a big spelling freak and personally I find it hard to take anything...

    Special billing

Special billing can include just the name or the name plus the character name. It is all worked into the contract for the actor. You can only have so many people starring in something (tv, film, theatre). So actors who arent necessarily the main stars but are highly featured can be listed at the...

    Karen Prell's New Site

Awesome. Very nice site. She is the one who inspired me to get into Computer Animation. Someday I hope I can meet her on a job or at a conference and tell her thank you. I missed the Labyrinth showing the other night and could have shot myself when I found out she was there. Oh well, someday.

    Fantasy wedding

When my husband and I got married I did exactly that, walked down the aisle to He'll Make Me Happy, we just went with Kermit and Piggy singing though. We also had a kermit and piggy wedding cake topper and our tables were Muppet themed instead of numbered. Oh yeah, and as we walked out we had a...

    Green Screen Test

Exactly, its a big nasty cutout that doeesnt have to be too precise that cuts out areas that you wont need. It helps with greenscreen because you can focus in the areas that are causing you problems, usually where the greenscreen borders objects or in your case, puppets. Keep up the good work! I...

    Green Screen Test

Nice camera! You seem to get a nice resolution image out of it. What compositing software are you using? I would try creating a garbage matte to get rid of the major buzzing areas above the set. Nice work, cant wait to see more.

Has Anyone Been To A Live Taping Of A Tv Show?

When I was 12 I was on Get the Picture, another Nickelodeon gameshow. We taped right next to the Double Dare set. It was fun (and I won some cool stuff too).

    Labyrinth 20th Anniversary Reunion

http://www.oscars.org/events/labyrinth/index.html A friend of mine just sent this to me. $5 for a movie in LA, plus you get to see a reunion of the cast and crew and the exhibit at the Academy. Its unheard of! What a deal. Too bad you can't get tickets until the 5th. Sounds like fun though.

    Beginners question..

Back when I used to teach elementary school I did a unit on puppetry. The school was in a bad neighborhood so I couldnt ask for much help financially so I did ask each child to bring in a pair of socks. The ones who did bring some in made up for the children who couldnt. Then we took pieces of...

See Jim Henson’s Puppet Improv Company Live in Hollywood!

Well guys. I went to the show last night and let me just say, that was the most fun I have had in a long time! We got there and ate dinner before the show then they took us inside. My husband and I were assigned seats (if you eat dinner you get the best seats) right next to the stage. There were...
