A woman who's just moved to a new state walks into a Dept. of Motor Vehicles to apply for a new driver's licence. When she sits down for the eye exam, she tells the examiner, "I am half blind, but I see twice as well as average." Within minutes, the examiner establishes that this statement is absolutely accurate.

Does the woman get her licence?

She's half blind so let's say she's only blind in one eye...sees twice as well in the working eye.
I'm not sure of the standard regulations are for half blind people driving but I give her points for honesty.

She could also have diminished eyesight and wear glasses that correct them to twice as well as normal, thus allowing her to get her license.
