The Muppets are coming to Disney World's Liberty Square in a new attraction

Maybe they felt this theme park attraction was a better fit for the characters than the show was.

The Muppets are coming to Disney World's Liberty Square in a new attraction

Curious how they'll appear. Costume walk-arounds? Guest puppeteers? Animatronics? Animatronics based on the movements of the regular puppeteers?

The Muppets Episode 12 - A Tail of Two Piggies

Personally, I found the implied comparison to the exposure of certain parts of human anatomy to be more uncomfortable than the profanity. That said, the episode was very entertaining.

The Muppets Episode 11 - Swine Song

If it is destiny that Kermit and Piggy are meant to be together, I'm glad that they don't seem to be making Denise unlikable in order for that to happen.

Sesame Street shrinks to 30 minutes, new shows will premiere on HBO and PBS nine months later

I noticed that on the PBS Kids website, which typically cycles one episode out and another one in on Fridays, for a total of four available episodes, they didn't cycle one in this weekend when they cycled the other one out, thus leaving only three episodes up. I wonder if that could be a clue as...

The Muppets Episode 1 - Pig Girls Don't Cry (Pilot)

I enjoyed the show. The jokes that hadn't been seen in the pilot presentation, the previews, the reviews, etc. made me laugh. A promising first episode, and if this one picks up steam as it goes along like the classic variety show did, it has the potential to go from a good to a great show.

The Muppets Episode 1 - Pig Girls Don't Cry (Pilot)

Really? I usually think of that character in connection with Elizabeth Berkley, rather than Banks...

Sesame Street shrinks to 30 minutes, new shows will premiere on HBO and PBS nine months later

Well, given that the reason the show is composed of short segments in the first place is because of children's attention spans back in those days, I don't think it's that much of a statement.

Video: "The Muppets" Official ABC Trailer

Well, the Muppets have always had, if you'll pardon the pun (and Muppet fans would just about have to), a loose canon. :crazy:Did somebody say, "cannon?" BOOM! See what I mean?

Major Changes in store for Sesame Street Season 46

I don't like change. I prefer paper money and debit cards... But in all seriousness, I do like the new set. And at least the new set is clearly recognizable as an evolution of the old set, rather than a completely different place (as has happened with some of the longer-running international...

Your Thoughts: "Muppets Most Wanted" Theatrical Film

I have to say that I for one really, really, enjoyed the movie. The thing that I enjoyed most about it (and that certain superhero movies could take a hint from) is that it never forgot it was supposed to be FUN! Constantine's dance was a little distracting, but I don't see it as a slap at...

Rumor: New Sesame Street Movie in the Works

If you're going to chant the latter, we all need to be chanting the former.

Which SST Character did you find to be most like you?

Probably Bert; the things that interest me aren't necessarily the same things everyone else is interested in, and when I was a kid, my younger brother used to want to talk/play with me when I wanted to be left alone.

    Overrated Movies

I have to agree with the posters earlier in this thread who said that Titanic was overrated. It was okay, but it wasn't this transcendent, life-changing experience everyone made it out to be (no movie is). Still, that expreience of deflating hype prepared me to like The Phantom Menace for what...

    Abby: Witchcraft on SST?

Right on, Right on! But seriously, I as a Christian who falls on the evangelical side of the spectrum, see no problem with what is clearly fantasy, not "real" magic.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 40

I'm pretty sure that was new footage; their skin looks more like it does now than like it did then. Good job on the hair, though.

Kermit at the MTV Video Music Awards

Concerning the substitute performer... While I must admit to having missed both performances, the hoopla over the substitution reminds me of a Jane Henson quote shortly after Jim Henson's death, concerning Steve Whitmire's casting: "The performer needs time. Kermit won't come back so strong at...
