In Development: Henson's Fraggle Rock Movie

Matt was performed by Dave Goelz. Where have you heard about Marty performing him? Perhaps he did the country specific inserts for one of the international productions, in manner of David Barclay, Mike Quinn etc.

    Puppet Stages

It has been done before. In the UK the Hogarth Puppets (famed for Muffin the Mule) had a touring trailer/caravan theatre. I have seen a horsebox with a back that drops down revealing a Punch and Judy booth. Steve Hansen's Promenade Players at Epcot also had a circus/gypsy wagon with a side...

    Kermit on ebay O.o

Not to worry. As for there never being a real Kermit sold...you never know. A lot of famous puppets (Archie Andrews, Lord Charles, Sooty, various Thunderbirds etc characters, and an early Fozzie) have appeared recently...so you never know.

Puppet Up Television Special November 20

They are being very specific with this. That armadillo puppet could be playing a real estate agent called Kevin who gets his kicks by groping Paris Hilton as she goes shopping at Wal Mart (all ideas that came up in the various shows I saw in Scotland). So it is a different character. Hensons...
  16. Punch'n'Judy

Puppet Up Television Special November 20

Puppets not characters. There's a big (and probably legal) difference.
  17. Punch'n'Judy

Puppet Up Television Special November 20

They're not actual Muppet characters. Can't see Disney allowing that. And even when they are recycling old Henson puppets (e.g. Raisin) they are performed as completley different characters, only the physical appearance is the same.

    C'est Les Muppets Showue!

Oh the irony...there's an advert for the Series 1 DVD set during the ad break. Someone has a sense of humour over there. On a more positive note...Nice to see long time British Hensons associate Janet Knechtel is credited as a rigger.

    C'est Les Muppets Showue!

Thanks. My French isn't what it used to be but some of it is quite funny. Not overly impressed with Clifford...but hey...what's new?!

One off vs Mass produced. Whatever the legal issues - and I agree with you on this one Marky - a good copy of the mona lisa painted especially, is always going to sell for more than a print.
