Thank you so much for the kind support! There's more to come! Hopefully at least one new strip her week! Spread the word!

Gorch But Not Forgotten (a comic strip)

Even though this strip is slow to find it's audience here on Muppet Central (though I much appreciate the few of you who posted replies), my inspiration could not be tamed, and I've created yet another strip for my series. Hope you get a chance to check it out...

Gorch But Not Forgotten (a comic strip)

Just for my own enjoyment, I've created a comic strip starring the old SNL Gorch Muppets. Basically it's showing what they've been up to since their days on SNL, and will have loads of cool cameos from other long forgotten or lesser known Muppets. You can check it out at the link below. Let me...

But you can build one online and have it shipped to you! How cool is that?

FAO Schwartz: Muppet Whatnot Workshop coming October 22

Great blog entry! I can't wait! I just wish we had some photos of what their set-up and product will look like! Was the photo on your blog from the FAO Schwartz display?

FAO Schwartz: Muppet Whatnot Workshop coming October 22

I can understand the high cost, since FAO Schwartz isn't the Build A Bear Workshop. They are a high end department store that sells high quality merchandise. And while I couldn't see myself buying a leather jacket from them for a couple grand, I'd gladly purchase a build your own Muppet puppet...

    Who builds 'em?

Actually, that's everything I could hope to know! Thank you for the insight!

    Who builds 'em?

This has probably been addressed before, but I feel compelled to ask, so my apologies if I'm rehashing old news. Now that The Muppets are owned by Disney, while The Henson Company is doing it's own puppet business with older un-Muppet properties, and Sesame Workshop is doing The Sesame Street...

    Muppet cartoon by Lowercasegods

Thank you! I have an idea with long-forgotten Sesame Street Muppet Roosevelt Franklin that I'm anxious to try!

    Muppet cartoon by Lowercasegods

I'm trying to bump this thread back into life after a long time of dormancy. For those who don't know me, hi! I'm Lowercasegods, otherwise known as Jay Fosgitt. I'm a cartoonist and a Muppets fan. A few years back I began posting some of my Muppet cartoons here on MC. I'm considering...

    Fiery Plush

That is totally adorable! I tried to make my own Firey way back when the movie came out, but it never turned out as cute as this (or at all, since I never finished it:smirk:). Great jobs on this little guy!

    Muppet Puppets by Axtell

I actually came across an old 1970's Ernie puppet with the hard rubber head while visiting a resale shop recently. Though seeing him rubber rather than fabric was a little strange, it was a better replica than any ever produced in fabric than I've seen.

    Kermit Love dies at 91

I was listening to NPR last night when the announcer says "And coming up next, we remember Big Bird's creator...", and my heart just sank. My first thought was "Please let this be a retrospective of Jim Henson", though I knew it didn't coincide with either his birthday or date of passing. But my...

MC isn't what it used to be

Hey, not to knock the new generation of SS afficianados, but I'm an old school Sesame Street alum (born in 1974), so if you ever wanna rap about how Oscar was originally orange, what became of Sam the Robot, or how many Gordons there were, I'm here for ya!
