I'm trying to but i'm at work and don't have that much time. Right now I'm in shock. To me Steve is Kermit. I expected him to be Kermit until he passed away. I really feel like we've slipped into a black hole or alternate universe. Never in a million years would I have expected this. Steve...
What in the world of NIGHTMARES is going on?? I just found out about this and frankly, I'm STUNNED. I know I've been out of the loop - coming and going but my own life has been kicking me to the curb quite a few times so I couldn't keep up with things. Steve's been FIRED?

In this video, Kermit states they are married in their hearts even though they are not technically married. And that kiss at the end was sooo cute!!
He LOVES her. No Denise. He loves PIGGY.
They look good together too.
Yup, she did. And Kermit *knew* what having a real minister there would mean. That's why he hesitated and gulped.
But he said "I do." Then there is that kiss afterwards up by the moon...
Yeah he loves her. Deep down, he can't live without her. That's also why he was sad in the 2011...
That's how I feel. Just because something isn't "real" doesn't mean you can't be emotionally invested in it.
How many people believe Star Trek is real? Star Wars? Are you sure there is no "force" and it can't be with us?
When you grow up with something, it becomes part of you. I grew...
While that may be true, it is not an obvious pairing. They would not be considered the signature couple of the Muppets. Neither is Gonzo/Camilla.
Ask any child 4 and up who the boy/girl couple is. It's not going to be Piggy/Rowlf or Kermit/Camilla. The only obvious couple is Kermit/Piggy...
You aren't alone After years of the on and off again romance, I also felt that they were moving in the right direction and that they finally had resolved the "does he" or "doesn't he" need/want her angle. He does, she does.
For them to backpedal now, seems like they are going in the wrong...
I keep going back and forth too. I'm not crazy about reality shows in general - in fact I avoid them like the plague.
What is really funny - is I hear this new pig Kermit is "dating" is named Denise. When I got my mini-van last year, we ended up naming my van Denise. (there is a funny story...
Thank you, glad to be back. Ok I'll give the show a chance. I'm a Muppet lover, so you know I'm going to watch regardless. ;) I may not agree with the format but it is all our lovable Muppets together again.
Nothing can beat that.
Yeah who is this "we"? Not me!
Honestly, I know they are fictional characters but so are most any character we like on any TV show or movie. Actors portray characters in a believable way so that people can't help but like them and associate them with the character.
Muppets may be felt &...
"reality-show illusion" Gotta love those 3 words. Reality shows are anything BUT reality.
Keeping up with the Crapdashians is one example of "reality illusion". I really hope they do better with this than that lousy show. I just wish it wasn't the format they are going to use.
Show, then...
For some reason I have this image in my head -
Setting - Kermit and Piggy's home, the one seen in the Muppets Movie. Kermit, dressed in a bathrobe, sitting at his desk in front of a computer.
Piggy walks into the room, also in a bathrobe over a nightgown; carrying two cups of coffee. She...
I, for one, never care for publicity stunts. They always have the opposite of the desired effect. I'm so ticked I won't watch the new show now.
Kermit & Piggy 4-ever!
Well this brought me running here. Never in ANY universe will I accept these two NOT as a couple.
Kermit & Piggy forever and ever and ever and EVER.
New show or not, they are soulmates. End. Of. Story.
Ok one more thing drives me crazy.. maybe it's because I can't figure it out. WHO owns the Muppet Theater and WHY was it being sold? Stadler and Waldorf can not own it, does Kermit? If so, WHY was he selling it? I'm so confused over it.
Thanks for the reply. Been watching Muppets episodes for days now - trying to figure out what I want to do with this one and the other one I have - both half done. I'm just afraid I won't be able to write like I used to. I should never have added the Disney part, but I also didn't know I was...
I think this story "jumped the shark" when I brought in the Disney Merger. I was considering taking that part out and just picking up without that ever taking place.
Has anyone ever gone back and edited a published story and taken it in a new direction? We all know the Disney merger worked...
I missed these online but managed to get my Miss Piggy off ebay for less than I would have paid at the store. Waiting now for her to arrive. Seeing how I have (and I'm not joking on this) closets FULL of BAB clothes, I don't think she'll have a problem finding something to wear. Does anyone...
