You're referring to the Monsterpiece Theatre episode, Cyranose DeBergerac. How it ended? Nobody nose. :D You certainly haven't pi$$ed me off. This gives us members a chance to brag about our fandom.

I'm pretty sure I do remember it, though I haven't seen it in ages. It sounds similar to that cool E sequence you brought up.

That sketch is transcribed in the Unpaved book. But the screen grabs that accompany it on that page are from the wrong sketch. :(

I can't tell whether you mean full episodes or the sketches themselves. When it comes to sketches, I have a pretty good amount of those on my family's homemade SS tapes. Email me if you're interested.

I just remembered: I was also a bit rattled when I saw this sketch in which Cookie Monster had a dream that he met a giant, talking chocolate-chip cookie ... who used to be a cookie-monster himself. At least it was a dream.

I can record it from my stereo VCR, transfer the track from CDRW to mp3, and send the file to you (or Phillip Chapman) somehow.

Pretty Great Performances: one of the sketches in this series has Placido Flamingo singing this "Zing Zing Hey"(sic) operetta, accompanied by an all-animal orchestra. I assume this is one of the clips you're referring to. It's on one of the Sesame Street clip tapes that have been in my family...
