    Classic Sesame Clips on YouTube

It's the choppy framerate that does it for me. The ArtistMike sketches from the '90s didn't look that bad in retrospect, but that's obviously because he used a more powerful computer.

    The Worst TV Show Ever!

I agree. He and JJ are the most likeable characters in this show, mainly for their genuine father/son chemistry with each other.

Behold... the New Teen Titans Cartoon...

Cyborg now gets to play the straight man this time as he shows the rest of the team the joys of real Greco-Roman wrestling, though they won't let their tiny, staged pro wrestling-loving brains from appreciating it. But will there be a sequel about lucha libre and puroresu (Japanese wrestling)...

Star Butterfly Vs. The Forces of Evil Thread

Did anyone else watch the slumber party episode with that truth or dare cube that punishes those who lie? It really brought forth the nightmare fuel we've come to expect, and also teased a lot of Star x Marco shippers in the process.

    The "Adventure Time" Thread

They've also got a theatrical movie coming up next year, I believe.

    The "Adventure Time" Thread

AT and RS ending, I have no problem with. They had good long runs, giving them plenty of time to explore the world and characters. It's stuff like Wander that has me fumed, as that was still kept wide open for another season.

    Peppermint... STINKIN...Park. Terrible Kid's show

I still don't think they had grotesque caricatures in mind when designing those ugly puppets. Are they supposed to represent politicians or something?

    Regular Show Series Talkback!

So it turns out all the parks around the world have been mysteriously launched into space, not just the main one. And there are some seemingly friendly robots

Danger Mouse and Powerpuff Girls both announced for comebacks

It felt very in-character for Blossom to overreact to not getting picked for the school club she wanted to join, being an overachiever and all, and to have a wild imagination about the outcomes of the other choices. I especially enjoyed the dance-off between Blossom and Morbucks in the...

    The Son of Zorn thread

I found the 2nd episode to be more enjoyable this time around, mainly because one of the animated elements becomes relevant to the plot, being used to spy on the son of Zorn's love interest as well as by Zorn himself to spy on his ex. Said item felt more reminiscent of the Sword of Omens from...

    The Bob's Burgers Discussion Thread

For the first time, Louise's Kuchi Kopi doll becomes a plot device, leading to a trippy fever dream involving Kuchi (deformed by heat no thanks to her parents) and the rest of Louise's dolls.

Weekly Box Office and Film Discussion Thread

The remake of The Magnificent Seven (which in turn was a remake of Kurosawa's Seven Samurai) is around $35 million so far. At 2nd place is Storks at around $21 mil. http://www.boxofficemojo.com/weekend/chart/?yr=2016&wknd=39&p=.htm

Weekly Box Office and Film Discussion Thread

I've been doing some research on that upcoming Middle School movie with the hand-drawn notebook sketches, and it's being directed by the same guy as Paul Blart: Mall Cop and Movie 43, so you know we're in for some top-quality entertainment.

Danger Mouse and Powerpuff Girls both announced for comebacks

We now get a send-up of Aliens with the Professor putting the house on lockdown because of a smart pillow that will not rest until it puts its users to rest. It was a nice horror-comedy that could have been a plot from the original. One thing I love about this show is the use of wild takes...

Behold... the New Teen Titans Cartoon...

I especially loved Raven's evil plan that she shared with the others. Too bad it was too evil even for them.

    The Worst TV Show Ever!

This one really doesn't apply here, but I though ABC's newest sitcom Speechless wasn't as bad as the promos made it out to be. Granted, there are problems like the mother's derivative characterization, but I really like JJ, who has cerebral palsy (like his actor) and can't speak (unlike his...

Danger Mouse and Powerpuff Girls both announced for comebacks

Now this was more like it. Bubbles goes on a road trip with the Professor to an art gallery in an effort to connect with him more. It utilizes classic Bubbles naivete and rage with her believing Prof. is ignoring her and will soon abandon her,

Arthur - Where is the Show Going?

I sure hope they can. I've seen some clips of the stuff they do, and they provide a good amount of life to things in their productions. With cels, of course it wouldn't make sense. But now that cels have been obsolete since the late '90s and digital inking & painting have made the process a...

Why people dislike modern Sesame Street

Not to mention foreign co-productions are able to handle half an hour of the show very well. So why not SSt itself?
