    Possible Muppet Babies Reboot?

Well, at least they look like they spent a lot of money on it, more so than their other shows. They look a whole lot like their Muppet counterparts in MTM! :) And there could still be room for medium-blending in more than just live-action stock footage, kinda like in the episode "The Great...

    Commercial rant time...

Apple has been riding on the trend of commercials using "moody" covers of normally upbeat songs, as Drtooth can point out. They used "I Will Follow Him", made famous in Sister Act, and the singer's off-key moaning is made even worse by the fact that he sounds really out of breath.

Also, that ep. was written by Dan Mintz, who also executive produced SoZ.

    Commercial RAVE Time

Kudos to United HealthCare for showing a dumb mom in a commercial for once. :)

    Commercial rant time...

Our state is getting bombarded with a lot of these "No on Prop 205" ads that basically say "Don't make the same mistake Colorado did" and scaring us with pot candy that's aimd at teh kidz and haff of teh babbys have weed in tem! Oh noez!!11!!1!

    Nintendo makes the Switch!

For better or worse, the Wii was a big hit for Nintendo, and lightning failed to strike twice for the successor. I feel like they're doing it right for the Switch's marketing by putting no emphasis on motion controls or touch screens that it may or may not have. Just the fact that you can take...

    Pig Goat Banana Cricket

Psychopath Giraffe made another glorious appearance during Pig's story in a recent episode, and apparently he's been running a big box store filled with equally psychotic shoppers. But I was most entertained by Cricket's story where he was forced to use the girls' bathroom and it's depicted as a...

    Nintendo makes the Switch!

Looks like all the game footage in the trailer was added in post, and the Switch used was a non-functioning device. It was only meant to show off the system, not the games, which is a bit disappointing but understandable...

    The Bob's Burgers Discussion Thread

This show has had some fun Halloween episodes, and the latest was no exception. Gotta love how confident Tina gets when she becomes a bad girl, and how seriously so many people took witches and witchcraft. :)

    The Son of Zorn thread

I admit to getting some bad Cavemen vibes from tonight's episode, but I thought Zorn's offense toward Zephyrian stereotypes was handled much better, mainly because he showed some hypocrisy by proving those stereotypes true. Also gotta love the scene where he and Alan visit the "authentic"...

Weekly Box Office and Film Discussion Thread

The Ouija prequel wound up in 3rd place this weekend, and didn't make nearly as much as its predecessor. Unfortunately, Madea is the one in 1st this time, enabling Tyler Perry to keep pigeonholing himself with these kinds of films for a long time. :rolleyes...

    Uncle Grandpa

I felt like it went a little too far by showing what losers the team were, but I did like the references to Field of Dreams and Angels in the Outfield.

The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Thread!

And who could forget You're a Good Sport, where Chuck got his first ever victory for once? Or how about What Have We Learned, which aired on Memorial Day and included a moving recitation of "In Flanders Fields". The music really drives it home, using an orchestral style as opposed to usual jazzy...

    When you need to rant...

I'm not against autonomy in certain situations, like falling asleep at the wheel during a cross-country road trip. But as a whole? Still no. And there's still bound to be tons of abuse of the system when it does become mainstream, like in the episode of The Simpsons where Homer becomes a truck...

    The Nicktoon Thread

Here's an interview with Arlene Klasky and Paul Germain on how they would shape a hypothetical Rugrats revival. http://www.ew.com/article/2016/08/08/nicktoons-rugrats-doug-ren-stimpy-reboots I personally agree with Germain's idea on keeping things somewhat '90s and somewhat timeless, as in no...
