Sorry, I was just trying to snap you guys out of it. I'm just so tired of hearing people giving up and declaring that we won't see the Muppets for another ten years. Come on people. Disney is so invested in this franchise at the moment and there's lots of secret projects in the works. Disney...
WHY in the world are you guys so pessimistic? What kind of numbers are you expecting?
Duh it's not going to make the numbers that Divergent is getting and everybody knew that. A good opening for MMW would be $20 million and it was $16 million as of this morning, the full report comes in...
The Muppets was up against Twilight 3 I think it was, and at that time everyone was so sick of the Twilight movies, so no one was rushing out to see it. It was also up against family movies Happy Feet 2, Arthur Christmas and the totally overrated Hugo, but it still did well. How is just one...
It's possible! I'm crossing my fingers for a major extended version. There's a possibility that's what they'll do.
Of course that's the reason, but it's a shame that things had to be cut, but at least they actually went out and filmed it, so it exists out there. James Bobin likes to film...
There's SO much cut footage from the movie! I'm told that there's enough cut footage to fill another 120-minute movie, so lots of great gags had to be chopped down and cut out.
I have a feeling that Annie Sue had a prominent role in one scene, but they had to chop that out too, becuase it was...
Well, there was this joke about the walls (which you can watch in the official B-Roll video for the movie) that had Kermit tell Fozzie, Walter and Animal that the supplies are hidden behind the fourth ice wall. Walter then replies "Well, then we have to break the fourth wall!, so they all stare...
The whole "wall" thing was a lead up to a joke that ended getting cut out of the movie. It was really funny, but all the other stuff with the wall remained in the movie.
Yes, they're all the way at the end, right after the song credits and copyright notices. I think it also says 'Filmed in Pinewood Studios" above it. It's all the way at the end of the credits and it's not very significant, in terms of font size, but it's defientley there. I saw it up on the screen.
I'm so tired of hearing "it's doesn't have the heart of the last film". That's not what this movie was trying to accomplish!
I wrote my glowing review right here. Do you guys agree at all with me?

Yup. After doing extensive research (Google-ing "Tom Kane"), I've come across his Wikipedia page. It's definetely him doing all those commercials, and I just remembered while reading the article that he did the voice over in the Monorail system at Disney World...
This is actually one of the reasons I was concerned about this movie being a "sequel" and then going and doing it's own thing. If it's a sequel, people will ask "hey, where's Gary and Mary" and complain that it doesn't really follow the last story, and if you look at it, no family films EVER...
I do actually! I co- run The Mickey Mindset (a Disney spin-off blog of The Muppet Mindset) with Ryan! It became apparent that we were both Disney fans, so we needed a blog to share our love for all things Disney.
He has everything on a schedule. Sometimes (I do it all the time) he might hit publish and then realize his mistake and pull it down. I've seen it a few times and it's a mistake that I often do as well.
I'm telling you, I hear this guy's voice in practically everything, and I can never figure out who this guy is and why he's literally in everything.
First, I hear this guy in everything Star Wars related.
Then lately I spotted him in this Mr. Peabody and Sherman commercial:
And...
The Muppeteer's emails are private, and I wouldn't suggest you email them. You can try contacting Sesame Workshop and the Henson Company and they might possibly forward you to the appropriate places.
Just tweet the performers and ask them. You can try that, but anyone who actually has any of...
