I'm really, really excited for this. Everything about it just sounds great thus far. I can't wait to know more!
On another note, I'm really happy about the fact that much of Judd Apatow's crew is going off and making names for themselves. Seth Rogen has a number of projects in the works that...
I'm really looking forward to a lot this summer, but I'm especially anxious for August, when we'll see the release of two action comedies - a genre that seems to be coming back in full swing. I won't divulge too much on either, so here are the links to their Wikipedia pages...
Jason Segel is an AMAZINGLY talented actor, and from what I can see "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" is gonna be really great. This is incredibly exciting to me.
Harder question than it sounds. I was asked this today and had a hard time answering. This is what I came up with. Remember, of all-time.
1. "Fraggle Rock"
2. "The Wire"
3. "Arrested Development"
Honestly, those three are all I need.
Another thought, and a more likely choice than Jeff Daniels, is Ryan Gosling.

Directing is just as big an ambition for me as acting, actually. My favorite contemporary play (or, at least, play from the past ten years or so) is "The Pillowman" by Martin McDonagh. I have a really weird idea to make that play work well onstage and be totally unique. Read about the play here...
"Sweeney Todd" is by and large my favorite musical. I would love to play any role from it, though I tend to lean towards Toby. I'm probably not what people envision when they think of Toby (contrary to what is shown in the movie, Toby is actually written to be a bit older, early 20s or so...
Oh, and I did a bit of research on the guy who wrote the screenplay, Robert D. Slane. He wrote some movie called "Come Away Home" a few years ago which didn't get much of a release, and he wrote and directed a short film called "The Fine Line Between Cute and Creepy" which is an amusing little...
I would LOVE Jess Daniels to play Jim. The only concern might be the age, He's almost the age Jim was when he died. Still, there's no denying that when it comes to resemblance, Daniels is as close as we could get... and their voices are even remarkably similar. And, heck, age shouldn't be any...
It's clear watching him in interviews that he was serious about his work, and had fun doing what he loved. He didn't want us to watch him and think of him, but of his characters. One of the few men left in the world who really knew how to act. And I mean... really act.
I really sound like that?
Otherwise, fantastic show! Richard's one of my favorite performers. I love the picture of him wearing the Sweetums legs while he reads the newspaper! I always thought Richard and Jim were the most photogenic of the Muppeteers... they both just have that constant...
