    10 birghtly beaked birds

Remember this one as well? We see all the birds in question land one at a time on an equestrian statue as the announcer counts them up one by one. Once they've all landed, they take off with the statue. The announcer then counts down from ten as they flap out of frame, then sadly remarks, "No...

    the great zoo escape

This is my generic name for this bit, which was airing at least through the late 80s. You probably have seen it at one point or another; in it we see an alligator, snake, and kangaroo going over plans in their collective (??) cage at night on planning to saw their way out of the cage and meet...

    Animal's popularity

Why do you suppose Animal's become popular enough with viewers that in some cases he transcends his Electric Mayhem bandmates and becomes almost a core character? My theory is that he represents unbridled wildness; that people can identify with his anarchical ways, especially if life can be...

    Milk truck skit

Definitely. Those were the days, thinking milk trucks would especially deliver for children on a person by person basis.

    New Film Idea: Muppet Aladdin

Maybe. You would have to be careful though in today's polictically correct age with Arabic characters and settings. If they do indeed try one of these adaptaions in conjunction with Disney, they'll probably end up settling for a story that would have a less controversial background in today's...

    Don't Eat the Pictures

I'm not sure of DVD plans for it, but I would love to see it out in stores again. Whenever the Disney Channel would run it back in the day I would eagerly watch it. Cookie's angst throughout the film at not being able to eat anything was great, making his final destruction of the hot dog stand...

    You've GOT to remember this!

So they were made in different decades? The picture qualities seemed similar as best I can recall (although I was 4 at the time, the young woman listening to the record is the "city" version was my very first crush on a woman; I wonder what she's doing now?) And the ending of the "country"...

    The end of Dinosaurs

I think the Disney Channel re-ran it a while in the late 90s. I'm not sure who has the rerun rights at the moment.

    Muppet Birthdays?

I know Kermit's is May 26 in honor of the debut of Sam and Friends in 1955. :)

    sweetums casting

Didn't Jerry Nelson play Sweetums for a while?

    Who does Red love?

Gobo would seem the most likely choice of the main characters. I think Wembley's too indecisive for Red's tastes, and most of the time she probably considers Boober too morose. :excited:

What happen on the last muppet show episode?

Roughly how far in advance did they announce that Season 5 would be the last one?

what is you favorite muppet of all?

    Probably Oscar. :grouchy:

    Muppeteers' first credited performances

How about Martin P. Robinson and Karen Prell?
  15. S

What happen on the first episode of Fraggle Rock?

Nothing too major. Basically Doc and Sprocket move into the workshop and Traveling Matt discovers the hole out into Outer Space. It serves primarily to introduce us to the characters and promises exciting things to come. :excited:

Are Statler and Waldorf friends or brothers?

They're brother-in-laws. I believe Waldorf's married to Statler's sister Astoria (actually the Statler puppet dressed like a woman). :boo:

    Muppeteers' first credited performances

With which productions did each of the main Muppeteers who performed during the golden years (up to 1990 for the sake of establishing parameters for the golden years) receive their first screen credits?

    Dave and Gonzo?

If he does relinquish Gonzo and/or his other roles, wouldn't the company make a formal announcement on it given all his years of service?
