I love the idea of reviving old favorites for new generations to enjoy.
I gave those tracks a listen and am more impressed than not with the voice cast, particularly Animal.
I feel like this could be fun.
Oh I like these shows as well.
I honestly didn't think I'd like Niel Patrick Harris as Count Olaf in SOUE, that he wouldn't do Jim Carrey's version of the role justice but I found his rendition quite superb. Possibly even better than Carrey's.
I'm looking forward to the second season.
I do indeed remember these shows.
Recently, including as I type this, I've been getting my nostalgia on with Rugrats, Hey Arnold and Doug on TeenNick at night.
Nobody big.
Just the cast members from Being Human (syfy), Sam Witwer, Meaghan Rath and Sam Huntington and a couple from Charisma Carpenter who played Cordelia on Buffy and Angel.
I had no idea that show was still going on, I haven't watched it since I was maybe 13 or 14 which was in 2000/2001. That's all I'm revealing about my age.
I used to love it, I even had some of the VHSs and the books.
I've never met a famous person beyond getting a response from one or two on Twitter.
My aunt once met Kurt Russel and Goldie Hawn at Disneyland, I was around somewhere because I was the reason she was at Disneyland in the first place (one of my uncles went as well) but I was 5.
David Boreanaz from Buffy the Vampire Slaye, Angel and Bones.
Sam Witwer from Being Human (Syfy) and Smallville.
Past crushes I've gotten over:
Freddie Prinze Jr.
Scott Backula (Quantum Leap)
John Stamos
Robert Pattinson
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Angel
Bones
Bob's Burgers
Being Human (Syfy)
Ghost Whisperer
Once Upon a Time
Charmed
Quantum Leap
Full House
The Middle
Big Bang Theory
Modern Family
Fresh Off the Boat
Castle
This so-called UK version was a waste of time because as far as I could tell, it still features more American celebrities than British.
Regardless, the celebrities commandeered the entire video in both versions. The Muppets had almost no screen time. It just felt like a lot of random karaoke...
Excellent point! This hadn't crossed my mind but is absolutely true. There was something of a 90's trend of presenting both sides of the female spectrum. The Muppet Babies was certainly no exception.
Let me also point out the presence of this concept in another 90's series, Disney channel's...
Agreed, until I read this article I had never heard of a 'Lots of Hugs' bear...or else I've never recognized one as such. So it doesn't seem like they had a lot of popularity even prior to the film.
According to the article provided in the first post, If I understand correctly the similar sounding name by itself is not the issue.
Diece-Lisa Industries of New Jersey who trademarked 'Lots of Hugs' stuffed bears in 1995 felt the Lots-O Huggin' Bear character with it's evil story line...
This is a question that's been nagging at me for quite some time and finally I've googled it. The answer is actually pretty black and white. Skeeter is technically not a Muppet but a filler character.
The Muppet Babies was a spin off series of Piggy's 'What if we grew up together' fantasy...
