    Classic Sesame Clips on YouTube

Here’s an oldie that I hope will soon be posted in English: Actually, this is only Part Two of this sketch. In Part One, Bert holds a number 4 and asks Ernie if he knows what it is. Ernie says it’s a chocolate pie. Bert decides to show a film about the number 4 so Ernie can get a clue...

    Classic Sesame Clips on YouTube

Yes, I’ve seen that list, SesameMike. Thanks for posting it. Telling everyone there’s a blizzard coming doesn’t sound like something Oscar did to keep from being bothered, though. It sounds more like he was just playing that trick on Gordon and Bob and Maria and Mr. Hooper so he could have a...

    Soapsuds in Oscar’s can

That sounds right. As I recall, Big Bird was washing one thing by itself. I never understood how the soapsuds got from the laundry room to the inside of Oscar’s can, though.

    Soapsuds in Oscar’s can

I seem to recall a sketch where Oscar was in his can, with the lid closed, and was saying he had just taken a “grease shower.” Then soapsuds started to bubble out of his can as he exclaimed, “Hey, what’s this? Soapsuds? Clean soapsuds? Help! Help, I’m gettin’ clean!” That one always made me...

    The corny joke thread

Okay, how about this one? Why did the blonde wear dark glasses? With all the dumb-blonde jokes around, she didn’t want to be recognized.

    The corny joke thread

Why is it wrong to say “pi r square”? Who ever heard of square pie? Everyone knows pie are round!

    The corny joke thread

Okay, for this joke, it helps to be familiar with this Sesame Street Sketch: [Harvey Kneeslapper is giggling while jumping on a pogo stick. Fat Blue is watching.] Fat Blue: Say, that pogo stick looks like fun! Harvey: Ahhh, sure is! Wanna try? Fat Blue: Oh, I’d love to! Harvey: What’s...

I know it is. But I only found this video on YouTube a day or so ago. Then I stumbled on this thread, and I thought, “2 1/2 years old or not, I’m sharing this video in this thread!”

    Dreams about Muppets...

 What a nightmare I had last night! The Muppets were rehearsing, when somehow a flame started and they caught on fire! They were frantically calling to Jim Henson for help: “Help, Jim! We’re on fire!” The fire got put out, but the backs of some of them had been horribly scorched.

    Dreams about Muppets...

My dream was more of a Sesame Street dream. In it, some friends and I met the Queen of Six. And, just because I love this film so much, here she is! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHDgppc3Sig

    Presenting the...!

Please, PLEASE, can someone help me with this one? I’ve been racking my brains trying to remember what happened in these little fillers! You may recall that sometimes between segments, the screen would go from completely black to some other color in a delightfully ridiculous way, like in this...

Fan Poll: Favorite Muppet Christmas Production

A Muppet Family Christmas wins, hands down! I love that Fozzie's mother cancels her vacation plans and spends Christmas with Fozzie and his friends when they just show up at her door. We don't get to see nearly enough of Emily Bear. What a honey!

Fan Poll: Favorite Sesame Street Christmas Production

Christmas Eve on Sesame Street is one of my most favorite specials! :) How many kids have worried about how Santa Claus gets down skinny little chimneys, or into homes with no chimneys? And I love Bob's advice to get me through the post-Christmas letdown: "Think of this Christmas day when...
