    COVID-19 Coronavirus News and Updates

The library near me has been closed for a year and a half. Does anyone remember Obama’s birthday party a few weeks back? A thousand people unmasked? Or is the irony lost here?

It’s hard to see underwater in a hot tub. First, it’s so shallow. Second, when the jets are turned on, you got a sea of bubbles. I loved Eddie Murphy’s line from Trading Places. He was a homeless bum who suddenly finds himself in Dan Aykroyd’s house. The butler turns on the jacuzzi for him...

A little garlic goes a long way. If you’re making spaghetti sauce, half a clove is plenty. It can easily overpower other flavors. Where’s Sarge? Wasn’t she part vampire at one point? Or was she a zombie?

I always liked Jim Boyd as the Wolfman. Little did I know one day my hair would be as long as his.🥶

Once we stayed at Harrah’s in Atlantic City. Not only did they have several pools, but a gym, jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath, the whole deal. That’s the idea of hot places. Sweat your pores out, then jump in cold water. Very good for your skin.

    COVID-19 Coronavirus News and Updates

One side says if you get vaccinated, you don’t care about humanity. The other side says if you don’t get vaccinated you don’t care about humanity. Someone is wrong. Much of the fear if you get vaccinated, you’ll have computer chips injected into you. That fear was spread by Elon Musk. He may be...

The New Am I The Only One Thread

My wife and I used to take a number of road trips. The only thing I requested was a hotel with a pool. We had a travel deal where we got big discounts staying at a Holiday Inn. More often than not they had an indoor pool, which was nice, you can swim at night or if it was raining outside. Once...

Geographically, Any Del would be about an hour’s drive for me. That’s not far at all.

This is as good of a place as any to bring this up. Yes, Snowthy, the Bible says love your neighbor. But do you know what it says more often? Trust God and don’t be afraid.

What are we going to take away from all this? Maybe we shouldn’t have pushed God out of the picture. Just sayin, but what do I know, right?

    Dealing with depression and anxiety

Maybe someday take a drive in the opposite direction. Drive straight north up to Canada, or Maine, for a change of scenery. It won’t be long before the leaves start changing colors. I’ll bet it’s beautiful up there.

    Disability Corner

Well, I hope it works out for you. It’s a high bar to clear, because many try to cheat the system. They. Caught one guy who claimed he couldn’t work because of his back. Once he got approved, h posted a video of himself on Facebook dancing at a club. Someone got wise and his claim was revoked...

    Disability Corner

It takes a lot to get approved for Disability. It would take notes from several doctors to say you can’t do this work, you can only stand for this long, you can only lift this much, etc. The thing that could make them reject your claim, are you capable of a desk job? If so, you’re back to...

The only dressing I don’t like is blue cheese. But back in the pre-COVID days of salad bars, I’d be open for just about anything. Back in my high school days, I lived on French dressing. More specifically, Catalina French. This is what Pizza Hut had on their salad bar. This thick orange-reddish...

    The "You know what?" thread

I’m almost there. We might not agree on politics much, but we still have the right to disagree. Both sides. That’s civil discourse. But in recent years, like when conservatives speak on college campuses, they dialogue is shut down, shouted down, and there’s no way different ideas can be...

If they’re guarding a library, this might be a side job. They might be hired by an independent security agency , not necessarily the NYPD. In any circumstance, you respect the cop, even if he’s wrong. The only one who can address officer Tibet’s as “Tibbets”” would be a supervisor. The cops...

Made a big salad for lunch. Mixed greens, dried cranberries, cheese, granola cereal (croutons get expensive, but a salad needs a little crunch), and some diced chicken. Then all my attempts at eating healthy fall by the wayside when it comes to dressing. Vinegrettes are good, usually oil and...

    COVID-19 Coronavirus News and Updates

Don Lemon at CNN has been pushing a narrative all year that the vaccines are racist. Earlier this year the narrative was racist because more white people were getting vaccinated before black people. There were some bugs in the beginning on how to distribute the vaccines, but that was more due...
