I love the fact that Brian was there helping to set up and judge the challenge. Also impressed that they dedicated a whole two hours of airtime to this challenge. I only wish they could have edited down the 30 minutes of boardroom banter and shown us more Stuffed and Unstrung.
It shows you as "Member" now. I think it just takes a bit to catch up if you haven't logged-in in a while.
Have fun tomorrow! And be sure and come back to post how it was for those sad pathetic souls that don't get to go... you know, like me.
Very cool! Hope my Kermie takes me to New York soon. If not, he knows what will happen.
Just FYI for those watching the 20 minute video. Nothing really happens until 5 minutes in so just let it load and skip ahead. And the Muppets don't show up until 10:45.
The first question in the...
I found one pair in the women's flip flop section. Not sure if they were indeed men's since the tag was missing - thus I wasn't able to purchase either. :(
Thanks Dearth for transcribing that bit. That's how I heard it as well but didn't get a chance to go back and verify it. I've listened to the commentary a couple of times and I don't recall hearing Ed, Muppet Central, or any other fans mentioned anywhere else. Sorry.
And DW, can I hold the...
Hi and welcome!
I think what's hanging me up is the phrase, "background Muppet collage". You mean there was an image of a bunch of Muppets? And I assume you mean Muppets like from The Muppet Show, not Sesame Street, right?
I'd have to watch it again to be sure, but Labyrinth is talked about briefly and there are a couple of scenes. A brief mention that he worked on Muppets at Disney World and then a clip of Clifford on Arsenio. No mention of Dinosaurs, Dog City, etc.
I usually mail my donation in myself so I wouldn't think it would matter if you were in Canada or not. Unless it's important to you to donate to an organization that represents in Canada.
I agree about the sleek/clean look of the menu. It's a documentary not an overly done Hollywood production. I would expect some minimalism when it came to how it was packaged and produced.
I didn't think about subtitles, that's a good point. The menu music versus the audio in the film was...
Funny stuff. Best part for me was when he went after the all the cookies in traditional nom-nom fashion. I can just imagine the mess on the floor when they cut to commercial. LOL
Yes! I love it when Elmo interacts with an adult only audience. It seems to bring out just a little bit of naughty that we normally wouldn't see on the Street.
I agree. Getting to know Kevin through his book and the new documentary has changed my perception significantly. It's really special to see someone like him have a huge heart toward kids. He's genuine and it shows. Elmo may not be everyone's favorite Muppet, but that's ok. I don't think he's...
My thoughts exactly. Notice how the cutting of funding for public television/Sesame Street got a bigger boo than cutting of NASA? Yes! Muppets rule! :fanatic:
That made me LOL! I think you have just discovered the next horror movie plot.
FYI, I just happen to have a certain 3 year old holding his giant Elmo while watching Sesame Street. What's not to love about that?
Ha, I like the way you think. I had to pay for my last haircut. I have a hard time finding people in my area who will comp just because you're donating.
