Have you considered winding a thin wire within the tails? We did that one time with a costume to keep a crown design upright and it worked pretty well. Just a wire that is thin enough that it's pliable but think enough that it can hold the tails up. Then wind the tails around it ot insert it...
I know they really do. I just nearly through the puppet through a wall because I was having such a hard time getting a needle through those little holes with the thread still on it. I tried using contact cement but that doesn't hold well enough.
Those rods were just metal rods I got from obby lobby and then I attached wooden dowels to the bottom of them. I feel as if they weren't long enough. in another thread people told me that welding rod works well in the absence of coat hangers works so I'm probably gonna try tha on my next arm-rod...
Thanks for the link and the video TCW. Those are great. That's just amazing how well the two hands work together in that video.
Goochman, I don't know if you feel the same wya I do about snaps but after spending half an evening trying to sew those things on my puppet I have one thing to say...
My room used to have a window that we put running Christmas Lights around. It's funny because now my sister has that room and she can't stand the lights whereas I loved them.
Sure, sorry. I don't know what's wrong with the link. Do these work?

Gah! I keep forgetting that. Sorry Kathy.
Spencer and Bailey sound so cute. I love it when multiple cats live together. We've only ever had one cat (once we had two but they were sisters) because my parents won't let us get another because they don't think they cats will get a long.
Just noticed this thread. I'm sorry Katzi. That's hard. We had to do that with our cat too.
*hugs*
That is good that he seemed to live a good life at least
I love Tolkien, C.S. Lewis and Timothy Zahn in the way of authors. As for books I like the Lord of the Ring Series, the Hobbit, Chronicles of Narnia, The Scarlet Pimpernel, and lately my dad has turned me on to the Star Wars novels.
Oh I get it. That's a good idea. I was thinking of just wearing a black shirt. But that would be good just so that there's always a black sleeve. Thansk Goochman.
Okay, I think I see that thanks.
Couple things I'm confused about though, just trying to get clear. What are the snaps for? And I see how the sleeve turns into the puppet's elbow. But you mentioned one that goes to your elbow and one that goes to your bicep, which sleeves are you talking about...
Haha! That was great!
We should take out the pumpkin innaards and make the piggest Pumpkin Pie that Muppet Central's ever seen.
Boober: Great Idea! I'll go preheat the oven and gather the neccesary ingredients.
Uh, any idea how to clean the pumpkin out first?
Boober: Uh, my guess would be...
