I agree with you there! I looked the company up and found them on Facebook. They do have some nice looking puppets on their page. I can't say the same for this cookie monster but hey, you can't blame a guy for trying! ;) A Puppet is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it, IMO. :)

I would love to attempt to flock my own piggy puppet but what holds me back is the difficulty in choosing the right color of flock. I think you could order forever until you get the right color. I think that I will attempt to build my own pig using material with 4 way stretch that look similar...

I'm happy to say that Fox will be appearing with his buddy, Nicole Edwards, this Saturday night at a house concert. I will also be presenting my newest character at the show, (pics coming eventually). I'm hoping to get someone to tape the show for me so hopefully I will get some footage up.

Yes, that's how I did it. I stuffed the arms with that fake halloween spider web stuff; like cotton balls. You can usually get it for cheap when they clear the Halloween stuff out.

Got the arms done and the dress officially on. Still needs arm rods, legs and feet but I'm happy with her so far. :) Sorry for the sideways photos. They were embedding so I put them in directly and this is how they go in even though I did take the time to flip them the right way.

How about building puppets with memory foam? I haven't used it to date but I've got some available to me for me free. I can't see any issues with using it but what do some of you other builders think?
