David Rudman is credited for playing a character called Satay. I didn't see any new characters in the pilot. Anyone know who Satay is?

Some pilots do not get aired and are changed and/or re-filmed.

I showed Follow That Bird to my 2 year-old brother; he kept asking where Elmo was. I always wonderered why they have Elmo on the new cover when he's only in the movie for less than 2 seconds.

Maybe Bunsen did an experiment on him and now his vocabulary is limited.

They said in the panel that Denise is currently being built. So that means either 1.) they've filmed all of the scenes except the ones with her in it, 2.) they haven't filmed the show yet (unlikely) or 3.) the episodes they've filmed don't include her in it (also unlikely).

Didn't see the pilot, but we hear her voice for like less than a second in the previews when Piggy pushes her aside when taking a selfie (hate that word) with Janice. I'm willing to bet she's being played by either Alice Dinnean or Leslie Carrara-Rudolph.

ABC should have a marathon of some Muppet Show episodes leading up to the premiere of The Muppets.

I don't think they'd ever do that. If they did it would kind of seem out of place.

The only problem is that it came out in March. Not many families want to see a movie in March. I bet it would have made more money if it were released in Summer.

Yes! This is exactly what I've always wondered. I believe her character could have been developed like Gonzo and Piggy's did. I loved the episode where she tried to look younger. I could see her being something of a mentor for Miss Piggy and giving her advice or something.

I think it's some type of bendy metal wire with foam on it and cloth on top of that. I think you have to build the skeleton of the character with the metal wire first, then cover it witht he foam and then the cloth.

You might be an obsessed Muppet fan if you get angry when someone mispells Muppet names or quotes.
