I can't help but wonder if someone played the tuba for the foghorn sound effect used in various skits.

Not to mention ALL of Season 20 and beyond! I'm excited to see what other pre Season 20 episodes will be guided soon. Same. You both took the words right out of my mouth. Every time I come across an insert with "Image not available" I find myself sighing and/or rolling my eyes and thinking...

I wholeheartedly agree, but other people are still allowed to say what they wish SW can do when it comes to releasing classic material, as long as they're polite about it and not demanding.

I once came across a super old thread on here from 2003, where someone brought up the possibility of SW producing a DVD set of the show's full series. Even back then, other people stated how impossible it would be to pull off...which is true, because by Season 34, there were well over 4000...

Especially when it comes to material from Season 1.

Considering next year is the show's 50th anniversary, I'd be surprised if we didn't get treated to any rare content anytime soon. But...in all honesty, I feel like they actually DO miss a LOT of opportunities to upload rare clips for their Throwback Thursday posts.

Sign up for the 30 day free trial on one of HBO's streaming services. I think that will be your only option until this special makes its way to DVD.

For now, we'll just have to wait and see. I'm not saying they won't be included, but once they start releasing music, we'll find out.

As I mentioned previously, Sesamstrasse did that with practically every song they released on CD/cassette...so I kind of won't be surprised if it happens with an American CD.

True. I've noticed how on a lot of Sesamstrasse CDs/cassettes, the songs are usually played the same way they were seen on TV complete with all opening/closing dialogue, sound effects, and everything in between, while on American CDs, a lot of the aforementioned stuff was cut out. But yeah...

Honestly, I can imagine Herry getting a storyline about himself, considering that Peter is slowly but surely bringing him back into the spotlight. As for Granny Fanny? She wasn't as well-known, so I definitely don't see her getting a storyline of some kind.
