I dunno - i'm still thinkin' muffin. (Either that or Snowth's engaged in a spam scam where instead of posting links to viagra salesmen everywhere he can, he's getting paid to link to bizarre television tropes) After all, i don't see how any sane person could somehow view the idea of a thread...
I don't know that having two or more seperate ceremonies a year is a good fix to where the attempt at a solution doesn't just cause more problems - i can easily see that as leading to voter/award overload and burnout - it's a bit more special if they're annual.
Part of the problem with this...
I make wishes all the time practically daily. Mind you, they tend to be of the "I wish i had a different family"/"I wish i could afford to eat more than Circle K hot dogs and Jack in the Box tacos"/"I wish i never had chronic bronchitis"/"I wish i was never born"/"I wish i was dead" variety...
The process is most likely different depending on the type of show and how the particular individuals work together. They might go back and forth on the storyline in meetings taking notes and then whiehever one's stronger at dialogue typing up the final version - it may be one writer does a...

Congrats to all this year's winners and nominees (the "runner-up winners!") Thanks to our hosts for sticking through it and ... and ... waitaminnit ... four days later and i'm only now just noticing the thread title?
(Let a froum be your umbrella!)
dwayne, you're doing fine given the circumstances. I agree, it's best to not start over and pick up where you left off. At the end, all the winners will be put in the awards winner thread anyway. Since it's been a learn-as-you-go experience, i think you've had a pretty good crash course...
Already ahead of you - i came up with the same idea last year and a thread was created that just lists the winners of each years' awards so one doesn't have to go through a big long thread to see them. After the hosts finally finish announcing all the awards, this years' awards will be added...
Looks like it. Sorry, everyone - i don't have the full skinny on wha happen - but rumor has it that The Spellbinder has added a "G" to our "hosts" making them "ghosts". Paging Letterman! We need you to take the "P" from your varsity sweater so we can get the rest of the "posts".

Quality wise, it was the classic case of too many cooks spoiling the broth.
Box office wise, it was lost in a sea of huge summer blockbusters without the promotional blitz needed to stay afloat with the sharks.
Well, if those are your only two choices, no wonder you're confused!
I'll give you my thoughts in a moment but first let me ask you a question:
Is your heterosexuality a lifestyle or a sin?
I'm not being smart or funny (though i won't protest if anyone wants to think of me as either!) -...
Which episodes weren't you able to watch? I may be able to make copies for you - or maybe they're available to view online or via Netflix or something like that?
By season four, the story goes by so quick and each episode has so much happening that it's really hard to miss a significant...
