Very "meh" on this. It's a cheap stunt generated to get people liking their page with no real benefit. Even if they do manage to get the required insane number of likes to generate a reward, it's not like everyone who took part is being rewarded...just a few people would be getting free...
I'd say both can be used as examples of their full names for trivia purposes until something comes along from a more official source (ie their full names being revealed in the new movie) but it's not good enough reason to all of a sudden start referring to them everywhere as Conrad Waldorf and...
I have no idea where Jerry Statler came from but wow - a quick google search shows that a lot of people have been spreading the false info about those names all over the place!
Actually, in regards to Statler's full name, it was revealed in the script for the Valerie Harper episode of the...
A buy back is not happening! More likely Disney's allowed them permission to acknowledge their history without having to sidestep around images/videos of the Muppets.
Studio DC aside, i've been disappointed over the years with how little Muppets have been seen on Disney Channel since Disney bought them in 2004 - so i actually do get excited at the prospect of seeing them all over DC as we get closer to the movie...but the flip side to that is there are shows...
...and it IS Halloween when people dress up as other things anyway...hmm...
I'd love to see someone dress up as Uncle Deadly...not only because he's got a good part in the movie and would be a cool looking costume, but that is such a great wrestler name!
Fozzie's joke was season 1 only. The arches were used in seasons 2-5 (with the same footage shot in season 2 of the final verse being used for the rest of the run)
I disagree that something's not being hidden for a surprise because i know what that surprise could possibly be and this is...
Ah - i totally used to get both Nu Shooz' "I Can't Wait" and "Point of No Return" in my head back when they were out. At for me - Arcadia's "Goodbye Is Forever" - ever since i was a teen i'd go through stages where i'd just put it on repeat play and listen to it over and over and that still...
Behemoth is a puppet that can be turned full-body such as in Sandy Duncan episode but it's been a long time since they've done that...certainly not since TMS.
If something is Muppeteered, i think it's safe to call it a Muppet. Welcome to the family, 80's Robot! (Do you play music? If so you're my new best friend...queues up "Cruel Summer"...)
Love the idea of the most recent article profiling Fozzie as a Muppeteer - http://themuppetmindset.blogspot.com/2011/09/weekly-muppeteer-wednesdays-fozzie-bear.html - but it's only half-finished:
Fozzie discovered his enjoyment of puppetry and his hidden talent for it when he mocked Kermit by...
So the takeover crew included Grover, Rosita, Oscar, Cookie, and Elmo...i guess Elmo wasn't content merely taking over Sesame Street and got the desire to conquer other shows now ;)
No "George Snuffleupagus" jokes, was disappointed.
