OMG! This is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing! It's so good to hear their voices again, and Stand By Your Can is one of my favorite songs from the whole show!
It's because in the original story there were parts about them when they were kids, and parts about them as adults. So, for the remakes they just split those halves into two movies.
Yeah, it is disappointing to see SST support Autism Speaks, but i'm also surprised more people haven't voiced their disapproval or the show supporting SeaWorld.
Apparently people are really liking it! It has a 82% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes (88% from audiences), and it's actually quite self aware.
Plus, look at this beautiful 2D animation!

Yeah, I hate when fans do stuff like that. Fans have kissed Noah Schnapp at photo ops, groped Jenna Coleman (an actress from Doctor Who), it's super gross. A lot of fans don't think of the figures they idolize as actual people, just objects in their little fantasies.
It's really cool that major news sites are paying tribute to The Muppet Movie for it's anniversary. NPR had a couple recently too.
