    Worst/creepiest puppets/puppeteer work

Looks like Boober got a species change... :sigh: Didn't work out too well, did it. Fugly indeed.

The Official "I'm looking for/trying to remember a sketch" thread

I can see some vague similarities between this style and Sally's, but Sally's is far more stylistic, with smoother animation. It's likely someone else, but I can't think of who. Somehow I doubt Muppet Wiki would have any info, but they do have some info on other Sesame Street animators...

    The Letter People

To draw her actually sneezing would have been came out a little awkward for me, so it was a clever little substitute. Glad you enjoyed it!

    The Letter People

http://dee-has-a.tumblr.com/post/120852687164/ I've been feeling a bit uninspired lately (and it shows) but here's 3 other LP drawings.

    Original Electric Mayhem songs

I accidentally labeled "...No For An Answer" as a GMC song. My mistake, it's from The Muppets Take Manhattan. Must've been too tired to notice. You're welcome though.

    Original Electric Mayhem songs

Night Life (from The Great Muppet Caper) You Can't Take No For An Answer (from The Great Muppet Caper) Jam (from The Muppet Show) Rockin' All Around the World (from The Muppets at Walt Disney World) Love Ya To Death (from The Muppet Show "Sex and Violence" special) Nap Time (from The Muppets...

The "What was the point of that?" Thread

:boo:"The question is, what is a Mahna Mahna?""The question is, who cares?" My best guess is that it was a song Jim Henson just liked and felt inspired to do a puppetry skit around. No real reason, just for the fun of it. These artsy, humorous song based skits are what The Muppets' acts...

    The Letter People

Here it is, the first episode of the new "Letter People Land". Like the original, we start with Mr. M, who's preparing yet another trip to the market on a Monday. As corny a start as the 70s series, more or less. Though I wonder how they're gonna squeeze in the "CAPITAL/lowercase" concept into...

    Commercial rant time...

There is also an American Freight where I am, and we've got those commercials too, with the same loud motormouth voiceover. Personally I don't find them so annoying as they are hilariously bad. I don't expect this much enthusiasm in a commercial unless it's a local car dealer ad!

    Questions about anything

The "s" stands for "secure," I believe. It is to help prevent hackers from reading your personal information, or something like that. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    The Letter People

Not much updates on my drawing series, but I figure I should bring this up: "Letter People Media," who seems to be taking care of distribution of the 70s style Letter People tools (DVDs of the show, CDs of the album, and practically everything from the original school kit except for tchotchkes...

    Rankin/Bass

Tales of the Wizard of Oz. As cheap as the animation may be, it's a clever, witty, aesthetically pleasing 60s cartoon series, and perhaps one of my favorite Oz adaptations that isn't the MGM movie. On a similar note, there's also their TV special Return To Oz (which was released the same year...

    The Letter People

It was Snowth's drawing that actually gave me the drive to get involved with The Letter People show. Also, it took me til just now to realize that was his dA, so thanks for all of that... I knew something looked familiar... Slowly I'm working on the next 5. Already have B finished.

    The Letter People

There definitely is a mid century modern influence in my artstyle, though over time I have combined it with other things and now it's this sort of mishmash of that and other cartooning styles. Mostly the 60s stuff, though. Nonetheless, I'm very happy with how it's turned out, and it's real nice...

    The Letter People

I sure am! Though my dA is mostly filled with -- for the sake of this thread, I'll use a pun -- "jumbled junk" from years gone by, my Tumblr is where I go to post more recent creations.

How is Puppet Up! not in trouble from using Disney Muppets?

My best guess is that the characters you're talking about are just generic animals and creatures, who aren't protected by copyright...

    The Letter People

http://dee-has-a.tumblr.com/post/118578766709/ Shameless self promotion here, I decided while I've been on a recent drawing kick, I'd start a series of Letter People drawings, based off the puppet versions. Here at least is the first 5, in order of introduction.

What would your Muppet plush line be?

I'm not too sure what you mean about these sizes, and personally I haven't seen a Disney Store Muppet plush in real life, but I've seen and own other Disney Store plushes that are, as far as my memory goes, practically just as big. About 12 or 13 inches from head to toe. If not just an inch or...

What would your Muppet plush line be?

Explain this. Yes, I am well aware of the bizarre rarity of these things. I remember getting one of these on my first trip to Walt Disney World, around 2004, thinking nothing of how unusual it would become later on.

    JHC Rebooting Gumby

I think Dreamworks only owns the rights to any productions Classic Media was holding that had Gumby in it. The franchise in general belongs to the other people. So I assume.
