Your earliest memories of Fraggle Rock

I think I might have first seen the Fraggles on A Muppet Family Christmas. It's one of the few Muppet productions with the Fraggles that has stayed consistently popular, whereas Fraggle Rock has more of a cult following. I think it was around 2012 when I started actually getting into the show...

Who has been the best Muppet movie villain?

This one was a tough choice. I have always loved the Muppet Movie, and the classic overbearing evil guy and bumbling soft lackey dynamic, and Nick Holiday is a handsome devil, but I'm going to say Constantine, the world's most dangerous frog. He's perfect! Hammy, self righteous, has a sense of...

    Baby Bear

I wonder if Baby Bear on Sesame Street was inspired in some way by the Baby Bear from "Rudolph's Shiny New Year." They both have a funny accent and that little tuft of hair on their head. In Sesame's case, though, the tuft came in much later, so I'll bet it was just a coincidence.

New Visual of the Disney Junior Muppet Babies series

@Rugratskid Bobbi Baba was a concept for a new character that would be added in this new Muppet Babies reboot.

Sesame Street Gets New Executive Producer

Probably because ATC wasn't around since the beginning, as Big Bird's metal doors were. I'm sure there's a lot of people who feel ATC is as alien as the new street set. Pointless and obvious comment aside, I'll make another one by saying it's about time someone tells it like it is around here...

    Question about Luncheon Counter Monster

In the Muppet Meeting Films trailer, David Rudman performs the character and throws in a line near the end. In the Jim Henson Hour skit "The Food Chain Song (Taste Of Your Love)" he also sings a line. Not sure who does him there.

    What's next for the Muppets?

IMDB says that his most recent role was this year, doing a Sesame Street parody in "Tour de Pharmacy".

Stephanie D'Abruzzo responds about Caroll Spinney

I didn't mean "take a rest" as in "get rid of completely," but rather "let the other characters have some fun for a while". Big Bird can still be around as a figurehead. It would be great to see him take on some new challenges or just be the same old bird he was, but unfortunately that isn't in...

Stephanie D'Abruzzo responds about Caroll Spinney

Firstly, I sincerely thought your reply was very well written, and my response now will likely pale in comparison. I tried writing down something at first, but it wound up being too long, so I'll try to make my point brief. The main thing is, for Sesame Workshop and their goals, the consistency...

Stephanie D'Abruzzo responds about Caroll Spinney

I don't get why HiHo's complaining about it anyway. Not like that's going to do anything in replacing Matt. I understand it is his opinion, and everyone can have an opinion, but my opinion is I think it is an opinion he is taking far too serious. I honestly think, from the most recent clips...

Now what's going on with YouTube?

I found myself switching over to Chrome when YouTube on Firefox just wouldn't load anymore. Personally, I'm glad I switched. It feels a lot faster, and I can definitely use a fast browser on my slow 5 year old PC.

    Sesame Street Questions

I'm pretty sure he was talking about Maria's husband Luis. (There is a Louisey, but that's a Muppet.) It would be safe to assume he just doesn't come around as often anymore, like Bob does.

Steve Whitmire has left the Muppets, Matt Vogel to continue as Kermit

I know he's been doing other little projects, but after the allegations and his resignation from Sesame Workshop, I think he's better off doing little projects. But if all of that didn't happen, it'd be great.

Steve Whitmire has left the Muppets, Matt Vogel to continue as Kermit

I can imagine Kevin Clash or Peter Linz as a Wembley or Rizzo. Not to say they can do it for certain, but they have a lot of energy and almost the right vocal range for such characters...

Writing Help: Sesame Street character descriptions

I've been watching a lot of Grover clips lately, and began to see just why he's such an enduring character. He doesn't know how to do anything right, but he's got a lot of common sense. What he lacks in brain or brawn he makes up for with ambition, honesty, respect, and long, shaggy, open arms...

    Songs You Can't Stand

I'm not one to rant about stuff very often, but this seems like the perfect thread for me to mention the worst possible excuse for a "smooth jazz" radio station. I have always loved jazz stations and jazz music, and there used to be a really great one around here, with lots of variety, and a...
