They use this effect instead of letting the screen disappear which they've previously happened to do so on It's Alive when it was on...
There are software they can use to deinterlace their videos to that like RipBot264, Avidemux, Virtualdub and so on. They could as well use the yadif 2x filter to put that in effect.
Why can't they upload Sesame clips in original 60fps instead of interlaced or half frame rate and don't apply fade out transitions so they simply cut to black at the end and cut in at the beginning? I think they need to start doing this?
Does anyone have any Muppet Time sketches that aren't uploaded to YouTube like the Anything song with Miltion and Do Re Mi Monster (a.k.a Tug Monster) and the Extremes sketches?

That's not good when Shout won't be releasing contemporary stuff. Could that be because it doesn't like such thing or is it not ok with releasing it?

Speaking of Eight Balls of Fur, they were supposed to use the monster variant of Little Chrissy (which is basicly an adult version of himself) to match the song's subject with both the furballs and Chrissy having fur on their bodies since it parodies Jerry Lewis' song from 1957.
What are some Columbia/Tristar VHS and DVD releases that use the long version of the Jim Henson Home Entertainment or Productions (which is known to have it) where it had the sequence starting with the laser drawing Kermit and the star buzzing around before sweeping the text onto the screen...
