Im surprised the surprise figure is Super Grover, but it does make sense. They are already tooling the regular one and looks like the Super Grover accessories are separate pieces. Nice to see how much articulation they are able to put in there. I love the Palisades one, but it can't do much more than stand there.

Eh, don't forget that the Palisades Super Grover had bendie wire arms, so truthfully you have to be careful and only maneuver the shoulder joints to separate his arms enough to fit the cape. He does have neck and leg articulation joints as well as the movable helmet visor. Dunno what NECA's Super Grover will come with other than his letters, but I'm keeping the phone booth from Palisades version as part of my overall display.

Super Grover's box is labelled as Volume 4.

Thanks for confirming will be Volume 5. That's what I thought might have happened when previous posts speculated this mystery figure could be potentially released for purchase as part of Target's 2026 Haulathon. Though if Big Bird's pre-order is up and possibly scheduled for June/July this year, that means should be released before him, right? At any rate, I'll still be adding both to my growing street gang.

It's possible they just have S and G for the display, but when released he'll only come with the S.

Turns out he has both letters, which is nice. Looks like extra hands as well. The inside flap of the box shows Super Grover in front of a green phone booth that doesn't appear to be in the box. Could that be the Palisades one they used in the photo?

I'm glad to see Super Grover, but it doesn't really change much on my shelf since the Palisades Super Grover is already with the NECA figures. I'll likely just swap this one for that one.

Super Grover will likely be released during the spring haulathon. Those figures are usually in stock and ready to ship.

I'm kind of happy Cookie Monster isn't the surprise figure because that means they're not releasing all the heavy hitters at the beginning of the line. Saving Cookie is hopefully an indication NECA is still planning for this line to have a long run.

So yes, Super Grover will come with a Muppet letter S and G. Regardless, I'll still display the G with regular Grover when he comes in the 2-pack with Mr. Johnson. As for the S, would it be the light green female S wearing a striped swimsuit from the Letter of the Day Pageant sketch since we still have no news concerning the original potential plans for the E with Guy Smiley?

They also mentioned after for the end of the year. Wonder if any of the other announced figures will be released in between or next year, along with whichever new figures get revealed (if any) at SDCC and/or NYCC.
