Actually, rodents tend to like sweet things in general. Interestingly, when I had guinea pigs, they didn't like bananas, but loved apples :stick_out_tongue:

My grandmother's cat will eat a banana right out of the peel. Of course, this cat also likes cantaloupe so...

That just reminds me of the time when my mom asked my cousin if he wanted some cantaloupe when he was at our house and he looked at her like she had spiders crawling out of her ears and said no because it was gross. and my mom said well how do you know if you've never tasted it. And he said because who would want to eat an animal? Apparently he had gotten Antelope mixed up with cantaloupe. Needless to say in the end he did like it. But mind you my cousin was old enough he should've known what cantaloupe was. -_-
