Fads and obsessions always come and go, sometimes they make sense, but a lot of times they don't, and in most cases, some of them are just plain weird.

Like take the present times for example, I will never understand why it's like the entire world is obsessed with bacon right now... it's been around forever, why is it such a big thing right now to the point that you've got bacon sundaes at Burger King, and they now even how bacon caskets?

And remember a couple of years ago when deviantART had this sudden obsession with llamas? That seems to have died down quite a bit, but it does make me wonder how did the llama obsession get started, and now that it's died down, what's the next animal obsession going to be?

And of course, we all know 3D is one of those gimmick fads that definitely comes and goes every so often, however, it doesn't appear that it'll be going away anytime soon.

I wonder what other fads and obsessions we have to look forward to in the next couple of years or so.

Korean stuff is a fad in Taiwan, and it annoys me extremely. The song Sorry Sorry by goodnessknowswho is insanely popular in 2011, and I'm glad the fad went out.

EDIT: I'll add that mostly teenage girls like the Korean stuff.

Obsession with llamas? Makes me wonder if Carl Wheezer started the whole trend...

There's a very obnoxious fad that's been going on in recent years. A fad so obnoxious, and so annoying that I'm too angry to even mention its title, especially when it trumped the Muppets at the box office last year. If I had my way, I'd call on Buffy to finish those jerks off for good.

Is there something wrong with Korean stuff? Sorry, Sorry was sung by Super Junior. Korean culture is also very popular in Japan.

Alot goes about entertainment stuff here. Once in a while I would just get into the Peanuts gang, Wind in the Willows, Doug, Beetlejuice, & even now with The Muppets a while.

Nothing wrong, it's just that Korean stuff are shown so often it's annoying. (ad nauseum?)
Welcome to fads! Lol! It's also very popular in Japan. I'll admit I don't watch Korean dramas once you've seen one you've seen them all. Haha
