I may have one-up on some of you. Who else here bought a box of the cute little Valentine cards with DW to give away at school?
I did. In college. Happily, most of my friends were used to my weirdness already, and most of the profs thought it was cute...

Off topic, but anyone else checking out the Ducktales comic?

it says it's supposed to take place in continuity with the Darkwing comic, but nothing about that has been referenced yet (only on issue 1, and that came out only last week). But it DOES take place in continuity of classic Scrooge McDuck comics. Probably moreso than it does with Ducktales itself. Webby, the nephews, and Launchpad are there (Donald is mentioned in reference to being in the Navy), but so isn't Rockerduck. He's never been in Ducktales to my knowledge (there was a Rockerfeather, but it's an unrelated character) It seems REALLY interesting.

I think I asked awhile ago if the public seemed to recognize Launchpad as Darkwing Duck's sidekick, but after watching Clash Reunion, I noticed that at the high school reunion when Megavolt first appears at the reunion, Megavolt briefly speaks to Launchpad, even mentioning him by name, but doing so casually. He didn't seem to freak out or overreact to the fact that Darkwing's sidekick was there (or that Darkwing could be nearby).

In that same episode, I can't quite tell if the bullies ever learned Megavolt's true identity like they did Darkwings. They all laughed when they learned that Darkwing was Drake Mallard... But would they have done the same if they learned Megavolt was Elmo Sputterspark, despite him having electric powers?

Of course the public must have learned Megavolt's identity by the events of the first Boom comic, since Megavolt, in the form of Elmo Sputterspark, seems to directly talk about his villianous past to Drake Mallard.

I saw that one not too long ago.... the popular kids' minds were erased by Darkwing's old hypno-coin, but Megavolt was too scatterbrained to remember it.

Well I meant before Darkwing erased their memories (at least) did they realise who Megavolt was. Though when Dakrwing hypnotised them into forgetting who Darkwing was he didn't exactly make them forget who Megavolt was.

Guess what fellow Darkwing Duck fans (though to be honest, if these has been mention already, I'm sorry, cause I didn't brother reading it all the way though,).

But they are actually making DARKWING DUCK VINYLMATION figures,

How AWESOME is that? (By the way Darkwing IS going to have those Mickey Mouse ears, this just isn't a great picture for it) And even though I know this thread is all about Darkwing, I would like to mention that there are vinylmations of Ducktales and Tailspin that are for sell right now. Plus upcoming releases of Goof Troop, Chip and Dale's rescue rangers, and even Doug.

But Darkwing is without a doubt the one's I'm looking forward, though sadly these don't have a release date yet.

Just in case anyone is interested in seeing what the other ones look like (minus Doug)....

Hi, I have a quick question. Is Aunt Nasty, Morgana's aunt, depicted as a dragonish ducklike old lady? Or is she seen as somewhat more monstrous?
Hope to hear from someone soon.

Unfortunately, the episodes in which she appeared ("Fungus Amongus" and "Malice's Restaurant") were all CBS SatAM episodes, which have not been put on DVD, and Googling around hasn't turned up any images of her. So, based on two-decade-old memories... she's a short, hunchbacked woman with a parrotish beak.

Hmm... That kind of plays into what I thought.
*Wonders if I can get away with changing feathers for dark green Fracklish fur, or if a different name than "Nasty" for the hunchback Frackle would be a more viable option. :skeptical:

The SatAM episodes were broadcast on ABC, not CBS.
