Afternoon, folks! Today, I am proud to present my very latest Muppet replica: Kermit the Frog 4.0!
My primary goal with this Kermit puppet was to create a replica that looks like the current Kermit puppet being used right now. Most Kermit replicas I've seen (including my own) usually seem to strive for an older looking Kermit, or simply look like a puppet version of the Master Replicas Kermit.
On top of that, when I try to do a Kermit voice, it tends to sound like Steve Whitmire's Kermit voice, so I thought it made sense to have a "modern" Kermit puppet to match. As a result, I did a lot of research into the subtle and distinctive look of the current Kermit puppet, and then altered my pattern as needed. It took a lot of trail-and-error, but I'm very pleased with the final results!
