Well, Rhino had previously been releasing Krofft shows on DVD, and they're a relatively well-known company... all I managed to get ahold of, however, was a compilation DVD that had pilot episodes of their shows, but Rhino DID release complete series sets for H.R. Pufnstuf, The Bugaloos and Lidsville as well as individual season sets for the original Land of the Lost and Season One of Sigmund and The Sea Monsters. There was also supposedly another compilation set that was like a best of set of all their shows and such... yet somehow, all of these sets were "underground", and hard to get ahold of.
Last year, another company (not sure who though) re-released all three seasons of Land of the Lost in a complete series set to tie-in with the movie that they did (I watched that movie for ten minutes before I changed the channel, it was that bad... and yes, it was mostly Will Ferrell's fault). And actually, the Pufnstuf movie WAS released on DVD last year by Universal, again, to tie-in with the LOTL movie (the cover art says "From the creators of Land of the Lost").
Again, according to this article, we're expecting re-releases of Pufnstuf and Sigmund, and the last I heard from a Krofft associate, they were also planning on bring The Lost Saucer and Far Out Space Nuts to DVD as well... neither one of them were great shows, but I think it was because they came out at the same time, and were essentially the same show (space, aliens, trying to get back home, etc).
