Exactly what those guys said, My issue is that I cannot stand flathead Kermit. Basically the way the ACTUAL poser looks. So I pull the eyes up to give his head the angled raised look as the puppet has, when being performed with a hand in the head. It makes it look right to me, but unfortunately I didn't realize that there was a seam running down the middle of his head. I hide it very well, and is barely noticeable but moreso between the eyes.
Plus I'm anal about his collar always being straight for photos, so that fabric has some wear. (I don't mean dirty) The body, armature, feet, mouth, everything is very very durable, and shows no signs of age. But as I mentioned, I just have always loved frog. When I got him initially I didn't even want to touch him or move anything. (That lasted a day) From there on out I probably re-posed him once a week. (with gloves on though) After that, everyone that came to my home wanted their pictures taken with Kermit. Sooo many of my friends have their Myspace, or facebook default photo set to them with Kermit or Animal. Ladies love the frog.
Kermit did go out for one trip, and that was only to walmart, wrapped in a towel. I had to have his (top and bottom)feet color matched for paint. I painted my boy's room "Frog green" (with the bottom of the feet being the same color as the collar) and painted the elongated upside-down triangles in the correct color around the top of the walls. Didn't I post a pic of that?
Now all three just stay put in my office but, I would definetely get another to pose once and leave-be.
