I saw a commercial today for a website called FinallyFast.

Apparently, if you're computer freezes a lot, crashes a lot, or is unusually slow, and shouldn't be (*cough*mine*cough*), you can go to this website, perform a test on your computer to see if there's any hidden flaws like Spyware, Adware, junk files, registry errors, etc, and apparently, once that's all cleaned up, your computer should perform like it should, and apparently, you can save so much money going through them, as opposed to actually taking your computer to a technician, etc.

I'm skeptical. I'm cautious. I can't help it. I've had this laptop for nearly two years now, and so far, it's the ONLY one I've had that hasn't had to be taken in, and rebuilt because of corruption from viruses, worms, trojan horses, etc. BUT, it IS, however, not working like it should. Sometimes it can become bogged down, and sometimes, it will freeze up from time to time... and yes, I DO clean out temporary internet files and cookies on a daily basis, I even do disk cleanup and defragmenting everyone once in a while... but still, I know this thing can run better.

So, what I'd like to know is has anyone here ever heard of FinallyFast before? Has anyone ever used it before? Are they trustworthy?

Sounds pretty legit.

Plus, your laptop isn't as bad as my friends. He's got no sound, his screen is cracked and it's also broken so he has to turn it a certain way to get actual picture.

Reminds me of that video on YouTube of that German kid who gets so bad at losing a game, that he busts up his keyboard.

I would google this site first and see if anyone says anything bad about it. Personally I wouldn't use it. I would go to a manufacture.

AGK is awsome, but I agree with heralde, see if anyone said negitive things about it, but I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I wouldn't go on it; On my previous computer I came so close to getting infected by spyware posing like that more than 30 times. I recommend just doing a defrag of your drives; and windows has a drive cleaning wizard on xp. Look in the accessories folder for tools like that

Thanks, yeah I did that when I got a suspicious interview request once. Turned out it was a scam as I suspected! :stick_out_tongue:

Exactly, these sites aren't always what they appear to be. Sometimes if something's too good to be true, it is.

I was curious so I googled it myself just now, lol. One blog calls it a spammer, and someone on Yahoo said it charges for a service you could get for free elsewhere. A site called ripoffreport says it infects your PC (I don't know much about this ripoffreport site, but that does worry me).

I do that. I said I did.

It doesn't do much, though. Heck, I'm now getting that annoying error message saying I'm running low on memory THREE TIMES A DAY now, and yet My Computer's properties tell me I've got two-and-a-half quarters of free space (according to the little pie graph).

I really would call the manufactuer. Like my post above said, there are some bad things being said about that FinallyFast software.
