Yeah, but has anybody seen the prototype
Everyone's seen it. Terry Angus posted lots of pics before he shipped him off to MR and there were many, many pictures of him at the 2007 Comic-Con International in San Diego.

If you mean has anybody seen it lately, then no, all three have either been taken apart or disappeared.

And if you mean the factory prototype, then only Travis and the folks at MR saw that one.

You never know...MR might decide to make another prototype and try it again. We will have to wait and see.
You will be waiting a long time. With the current economic climate, Master Replicas are not progressing forward with any new high end projects. (They are concentrating on lower price mass market items.)

That's the smart way to do it. My store carries some of their fine Star Wars helmets and replicas that fans salivate over, but are slow to buy because of the expense. And that's Star Wars! Of course, it is a license they've since lost to Hasbro. I fear their Disney license will be the next one to go elsewhere and it's not MR's doing. I believe their parent company has tightened MR's financial belt a little too hard to keep some of the bigger companies happy. The recent Ghostbusters product nix was so odd.

I'm not certain if many people actually understand what is happening to the American economy. There are big empty storefronts in prime urban locations. We are in, what I consider to be, a "post college" phase in that we will all have to revise our budgets in ways we have yet to experience. It doesn't mean we're in a bread line, but it does mean most of us will have to sacrifice some luxuries and live life without extended credit. Ironically two industries that appear to be quite safe are fast food and fitness centers. Let’s hope that balances out!

I think that is very well put. I just wish it wouldn't hurt the Muppet economy.

Yeah I was about to make a point like that, if I could I would probably honsetly change the answer I gave some time ago.

A Fozzie replica just isn't a consider for a lot or people right now.

Then they should stop calling themselves Master Replicas, cause there is nothing replicated or going to be. What's the point? :sympathy:

People need to buy it if they are going to make it. If nobody is going to buy it, whats the point in making it.

People don't need to buy it, people need to buy food and shelter, not a Fozzie replica, :embarrassed:.

But I'm sure Master Replica will do research before releasing a Fozzie or any other Muppet replicas. I'm sure they know that's it tough times so they I doubt they will just release these very high price replicas without knowing they will get some profit.

If I had money to burn, oh I would be the first to buy a Fozzie replica (at least in Colorado), but since I don't have that kind of money, it's not on the top of my to do list.

That's why I kind of want to change my answer to the poll question. But oh well, I don't think it will make a difference

I understand that people need to buy the esentials first. I get that but Master Replica needs know that there is some type of market out thier before they start mass producing these Fozzies. Although I gotta tell you, I hope they start producing them.

Oh, make no mistake about it, I think it would be awesome too if they get produce, I would want to buy one someday myself.

I'm thinking it's not likely though, it just seems like way too much money and people are having a tough time with money nowadays,.

All I'm saying is that I think the market for these awesome replicas might be running a bit dry, not at all due to lack of interested. I, for one, love my Kermit and Gonzo replicas, and hope to one day get Animal. But right now that's seems like a lot of money to ask from everyday hard working avenge joes, :smirk:.
