I just saw the firefly episode on my DVR, and I have two questions...

1. What's with the iron gate for Hooper's Store? They usually only use those for shops/stores that have gone completely out of business.

2. Did anyone else besides me nearly do a spit-take when Baby Bear comments on the firefly having "one really shiney hiney"?

I don't like the sound of that by that implication.

Well the metal bars are also a thing for safety reasons. So somebody couldnt break into a window or door and actually get in. Hahaha i've seen it in a lot of stores. Including my own dad's which he locks up at night. :insatiable: :stick_out_tongue:

Is okay MB. Just enjoy the rest of the episodes and come here to talk if you wish to discuss your thoughts on anything from Season 39. :wisdom:

The "shiny heinie" line from Baby Bear surprised me too. Yes, he used G-rated language; and yes, it's hard to imagine a better way to describe where the firefly's glow was coming from. Still, I didn't think people normally talked about butts on Sesame Street (not here in the States, anyhow).

Well, when body parts are discussed, the bottom can't be left out, you know.

You DO realize there was a hidden little double-entendre there, don't you?

About the last new episode # 4167: Annual Triangle Toss

I thought it was a pretty good episode all in all! Loved how Telly still wanted to wear his vest and how he gave t to the new Triangle fan at the end. Big surprise was the " I Can Do It All By My Self" song by Prairie Dawn! But like the original one better. Loved the letter and number of the day Bits and closing with Telly and Baby Bear!
