Yeha. That was a big mistake. They want to make themselves known as a women's network, and as such, are slashing anything that isn't a reality Tv show or some crap that appeals to 20 year old shallow women (Gossip Girls, 90210). They got rid of the High rated Smackdown, and the money making high rated Kid's WB....

They are also getting rid of all comedy's as well.

If CW does get canceled, I guess that means my local station, Channel 27, that carries it will go back to being a regular independent station just like in the old days.

Hmm... I wonder if that is a bad or good thing? But it all could combust and fall apart for then really soon now.

I guess since the WWE Draft (with Mysterio, Punk, Kane, Cole, & Batista on RAW; Triple H, Umaga, Jim Ross, Jeff Hardy, etc. on SD!; and Matt Hardy on ECW), the "E" wanted to branch out, because the move of SD! was a joint decision from the "E" and The CW.

I miss Saturday morning wrestling with Vince McMahon in his canary yellow suit...ah the good old days. (The draft is ridiculous.) Saturdays just aren't what they used to be.

I miss Saturday morning wrestling with Vince McMahon in his canary yellow suit...ah the good old days. (The draft is ridiculous.) Saturdays just aren't what they used to be.

I miss the days when infomercials were late night programming ONLY. I really wish they never came up with half hour commercials for products that don't work. then we'd have to suffice with ACTUAL programming.

I hate the FCC. I hate all the rubber stamping in the 90's that let media conglomerates own so many channels that they feel they shouldn't compete with themselves. Now we got lazy nothing. No more weekday cartoons on broadcast, and Saturdays are dying.... it's a terrible time to be a cartoonist, frankly.

All they care about is money now and doing half the effort for what little ones have just gotten use to because they don't know anything better ?

Can't we honestly say that about everything in the world now. It's all about money, money, money, no matter if it's television, a product people buy, some form of entertainment, etc.

Yes it was. It aired on ABC in 1990. In this series, the Witch was brought back to life and she took over the Emerald City and had stolen the diploma, clock heart, and courage medal from Dorothy's friends. Dorothy had returned and she and her old friends have to travel through the strange lands of Oz to find the Wizard who keeps getting lost in his balloon.

And it features the voices of...

LIZ GEORGES: Dorothy
DAVID LODGE: Scarecrow
HAL RAYLE: Tin Man
CHARLIE ADLER: Lion
ALAN OPPENHEIMER: The Wizard
B.J. WARD: Glinda
TRESS MacNEILLE: The Wicked Witch
FRANK WELKER: Toto, Flying Monkeys

And they did a pretty good job recreating the voices of the actors from the classic MGM Oz movie.
