I don't really know who did the Cotton commercials, though it could have been him. I do agree I didn't like his new rendition of "I Don't Want to Live on the Moon." Not because he was bad so much, but because I didn't think it needed to be done over. But as far as the Cotton commercials, I adore them!
McDonald's was amazing in advertising, sometimes the food barely needed to be mentioned. It was the feeling that you associated with McDonald's that mattered. That it was family friendy place, or a place to hang out with your friends after school. And little kids saw it as a treat every now and then and a chance to get a toy and participate in Ronald's little world, lol.
