Ooh yeah! Either fried mozzerella, or string cheese...delish!
I love the fried mozzerella sticks, I get them all the time whenever I go to Sonic, but that string cheese stuff? Yicchhh! That stuff's like trying to eat a roll of rubber gloves!

Seafood - I LOVE seafood! Lobster, clams, squid, sushi, crab...if it's from the sea, and edible, I will eat it.

Mexican - I loves me Mexican food! The HOTTER, the SPICIER, the better! I'm talking eye-wateringly HOT! I'm talking drinking a gallon of water, and STILL feeling parched! The kind that if your nose is stuffed up, you take one whiff, and BAM! your sinuses are clear, and then some!
Winslow, listening to your description of really good Mexican food, I remember one line in the movie "My Favorite Year," in which the main character is describing some very spicy Chinese food to his girlfriend. "One taste and your tongue dials the fire department."

But I do have a few seafood-related cravings - a few nights ago I found myself longing for a bowl of clam chowder. And I do love salmon, either broiled with olive oil or grilled with teriyaki sauce. (swoons) The thing is, we can't eat it all that often, 'cause my father's not fond of fish. So we usually have to come up with something else for Lent.

Let's see...I love chocolate (but who doesn't?), and I frequently long for fresh bread and bagels...and a few moments ago, I caught myself fondly reminiscing over a treacle sponge pudding I had while in London last year...it was sweet, and steaming, and tender yet crumbly, and it came in a pool of warm vanilla custard...better stop before I start drooling on the keyboard.

Great quote, MNG! That pretty much sums up Mexican for me!

Well i loves me my food and i've many food cravings throughout the times but unfortunately that eventually manifested to my current state...while i could eat tons of food when i was a teen and not get fat that would eventually change when i got in my 20's (and due to various times of severe misfortune which is way too long to go into now there were periods of major depression which eventually led to my gaining 50+ pounds and still remain overweight to this day...though i am determined that 2008 is the year i get in better shape)

Still some of those food cravings that have made me what i am today (for better or worse) have been:

peanut butter and jelly sandwiches...or pb&j bagels for that matter

raw cookie dough

jalopeno poppers

...and i echo the thoughts of those who say "the hotter the better" when it comes to chili and mexican food. Also i like my italian food (esp lasagna) very hot (not as in spicy but i mean temperature wise)...if it doesn't burn a small portion of the roof of your mouth that isn't still peeling a little for a few days, it's not worth it!

Taquitos are another food craving. Potato chips with LOTS of ketchup. Pumpkin pie (one of the few foods where the BEST actually comes from a can...Libby's to be specific...the most gourmet pumpkin pies just don't top that stuff!)

Vanilla wafer cookies.

Grape ice cream. Rainbow sherbet.

I'm sure there are other major ones but those are the big food cravings that i've tended to have throughout the years.
