Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

I think it would be nice if for this special day, we all counted our blessings and tell everyone what we are thankful for.

I am thankful for the opportunity to be with my mom's extended family for Thanksgiving for the first time in four years.

I am thankful for my little niece or nephew who will be born in February, and for his/her dad (my brother-in-law) who is in Kuwait with the Army right now.

I am thanful for Muppet Central and all the friends I have here!

Peyten, what a great idea! Since my family doesn't do that sort of thing, I'm glad my extended family does! I'm greatful that since my aunt and uncle won't be at dinner tonight, I at least got to spend several hours with them last night. I'm also greatful that they're going to be able to enjoy a full holiday dinner, even if it is just the two of them.
As always, I'm extremely thankful for this extended family I have here, and all the fun we've had together in the past years.

Ah, the wonderful day of Thanksgiving is upon... too bad, though, thanks to my nana we're dreading it...

Remember when I said she finally loaned us the money so we could pay our first month's rent for our new house and move in? Well, ever since then, my nana's been acting like we're all indebted to her for the rest of our lives, so last night, she dropped a bomb on us that's inviting herself over for Thanksgiving dinner, and is making all sorts of dishes for it, when our house isn't even finished being put together, and we had plans to simply go out for Thanksgiving instead. I hate to admit it, but my nana isn't exactly the world's greatest cook, and she's always such an Eeyore (gloom and doom kind of thing), and whenever she comes over, she stays and stays and stays and stays and stay. I know I shouldn't be like this, especially since it's really not her fault, as I've mentioned, she's slowly slipping into either Alzheimers, or Dementia, but I have to admit, this must be the first time in eighteen years I've NOT looked forward to Thanksgiving.

Well, other than that, I sure am thankful, though, that we finally have our new home, and that it's slowly, but surely, coming together.

Let's see, what am I thankful for? I am thankful for... everything that I have. I am thankful for my family, and my friends (both in real life and here on this forum). And I'm thankful that I have a warm place to live and sleep each day. But, what I'm most thankful for is the love of my life... thank you for loving me and for everything you bring to me, William. I love you!

I'm thankful for my family and friends, my home, my job (yes, my job, sometimes I hate it but at least I have one), coffee and of course MUPPETS!
