This was wonderful!
I had lots of fun...

And gosh something strange happened on Thanksgiving.

Me: Dad, when can I get married? (I ask jokingly)
Dad: When you're 70

And a few seconds after that...
the cup near me cracks right in front of us.
A few seconds later, a piece falls out.

It took the shape of a heart.
The heart landed on my plate.

Odd, huh?

 It was odd.

That picture is my most recent one, btw.
It was taken yesterday.

Point is...
Thanksgiving was just awesome!
Rather...magical.

Happy belated Thanksgiving everyone!

I'm sorry your Thanksgiving wasn't great, D'Snowth. We do need to remember that holidays are also a time of stress and not always a perfect day. All we can do is be thankful for all the things we do have.

Glad you had a good time, BeakerSqueedom! Very interesting about the cup!

My Thanksgiving was suprisingly good and relaxing. I say surprisingly because, as I say, our holidays are usually very stressful. Heh

Lol, yup!

We should remember too, the Pilgrims first months in America were not fun and enjoyable. They lost a lot of their people and probably felt things would never work out. But despite all that they were able to be grateful for what they did have, and the faith that kept them going.

Wow, ashamed I am for not having remembered that story.
You've just reminded me of where Thanksgiving originated from.
LOL! Believe it or not...I actually DID forget for a second.

I guess I get so caught up in the turkey..
I forget the meaning behind that holiday!

Lol, I understand, I haven't thought about it in a long time too. I guess that's what happens after you leave grammar school, hehe. I'd recommend watching A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and another Peanuts special This Is America, Charlie Brown: The Mayflower Voyages.
