You know something, I've mentioned quite a few times here that I have a "condition", but I never have told you all what that condition is, have I?

Well, just in case you're wondering "what is this 'condition' that Snowths speaks of", it's called Rosacea.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosacea

So basically, I always look and feel like I've been sunburned, but I haven't, and it's no fun either, temperatures above 65 degree can trigger it thus making me flare up: that's why I get heated up so easily and it takes me forever just to cool off.

Curse my Scotch/Irish ancestors!

Oh my, Snowthy. I'm sorry to hear about that. It totally makes sense why you hate hot temperatures so much. That must be really hard to have, especially living where you do and during this time of the year. I hope that one day, it could be easier for you to deal with.

I don't think I have that same thing, but I might. People tell me I do all the time. I have the reddest cheeks and look like I've been out in the sun all the time. People ask me that all the time "Were you just outside, your cheeks are awfully red" and I tell them "My cheeks are always red" The tell is that they are redder than usual. THAT'S how you know I've been out in the sun. BUT, one woman I know finds them adorable, and as long as one woman in this world finds it adorable, I'm fine with it.

Si, si, that also explains why I LIVE for fall and winter!

Did you guys know I have to have a little desk fan on my nightstand blowing on me all night for relief? Not only that, but I have to take cold showers, and hot tubs are no fun.

My mom has it real bad too, and so does my sister and nana.

Sorry, buddy. Atleast you have ways to deal with it though and make it not so uncomfortable. I know it's easier said than done, but try to stay cool this summer. It seems like each summer has been getting hotter and hotter the last few years.

I deeply sympathise Snowthers.:sympathy:

I hope medical technology can one day find a breakthrough in alleviating or better still irradicating this condition.

Meh, it's hyretitary, there's nothing really that can be done for it. You know, it's kind of like if you can roll your tongue, or if you're tall but come from short parents.
