I believe Jim Henson's name is still in the credits too, isn't it?

The only time you see Jim's name during the closing credits is the list of Muppeteers for the show are listed under "Jim Henson's Muppets". Other than that, he's not actually credited for anything anymore, and sadly, neither is Richard Hunt.

From what I understand Frank Oz shows up for 1-2 days of taping each season and does some stuff. I like that he does it. I'm glad he is a successful director, but it is too bad he isn't really with the muppets anymore. I think this phasing out started with the Jim Henson Hour or earlier. I do wish he would direct a muppet project if for no other reason than to have him puppeteer in it. I'd like to see him take on Piggy and Eric do Fozzie in a scene Oh the dreams of a fan.

if they did a scene together, I think I'd like it the other way around.. Eric's Piggy is much better than his Fozzie right now

I guess that's nothing new. I remember even on "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street," they didn't list Henson's name in the cast list. It was just Jim Henson's Muppets. Maybe some of the writers felt that it might be redundant to put Henson's name in the credits twice. I don't know.

Well everyone knows that at that time the Muppets where Jim Henson's or should have. At that time Jim was really involved with SS and i think that it could have been a little mistake for them not to but his name in there.


Now about Frank, From what i have read and seen there was to be this Script that Jim and Jerry Juil wrote called "The Cheapest Muppet Movie ever made"
Frank wanted to direct that movie he loved the script and thought the story was good. He also thought it would be a good tribute to Jim and now it would more then likely be a goos one for the late Jerry Juel. Frank really was a true and great Muppet performer.

Well if they used there old clips that had Jim and or Richard they would give them credit.
